I breathed in and out before I stood up heading towards the door . Again when I got to the door, I first stood a bit and then I eventually opened the door saying;

“Here I am .” I said but I was actually dumb folded upon opening the door when it was actually my roommate alone but there was some one else there .

It was the guy who actually just left me not even an hour ago feeling all disturbed and in state that I have actually been able to over come up to this point.

He was there standing beside her with their hands crossed with each other . He was still as beautiful as he was when he came in that time.

I looked over him from head but when my eyes met his , I instantly freezed and even looked away .

“I did not expect to see you here at this time.” I tried as much as possible and finally came up with a correctly punctuated sentence though I did not think that I could be able to form it .

I turned heading into the house the two lovers were after me hand in hand. At this point still, I could still feel a pair of eyes that I knew very well that did not belong to my roommate on my back. I was actually feeling so strong tension even when he was not looking at me.

“God, I just want you to help me get through all this .” I said inwardly. I moved and sat on the same couch that I was seated in before. The two of them moved and took the couch that is opposite me and this meant that the two were actually facing me. It could be okay if at all he was not here .

“You have no idea how angry I am .” Nats started in her usual way of talking . she leaned against Chad who wrapped his hand against her pulling her closer into him.

I just looked at him once and then pretended like I was actually watching a movie .

“We were all prepared but then nothings did not turn out in the way that I wanted them to be.” It was still my roommate who spoke. It was actually only her who was talking .

I don’t know if she even observed that it was only her who was actually into this conversation that she was trying to build but the two of us seemed to be occupied by other things.

She went on to talk for some time but then she suddenly stood up from the couch that she was sharing with her boyfriend.

She started to pace up and down in the living room as the two of us looked at her in amusement .

“Relax babe, all will be okay . That was just a mere beach party . More is coming.” Chad spoke for the first time since he came in . In fact, it is the first time that I had his voice since he left that time when he came in.

When Chad said that , he went a head and stood up leading his girl friend back to the couch where they were sitting before . This time she did not sit on the couch but instead she sat on the lap of Chad. The two almost beginning to cuddle. I knew what was going to happen any time if I kept here . What I had to do was to get an excuse and get away from here.

“I think I will begin preparing lunch.” I said and moved to the kitchen not waiting any reply from them . I took very lengthy foot steps and got into the tiny kitchen. The moment I got into the kitchen, I went staright to the fridge getting my self a glass of water sipping it until the last drop.

Still feeling so uneasy and all that , I ended up sipping the next one. At least by the time I finished that , I was feeling a bit relaxed now. I had to know that was a mistake. After convincing my self that u was actually just believing about things that would never happen again, I gave up all that and started to prepare food.

I opted for samashed yellow potatoes mixed with Vegetables as well as raw tomatoes. I prepared this because I knew it was something that my best friend liked so much and so I was going to do that with an intention of saying sorry to her for kissing her boyfriend though she had no idea about it .

It took about one hour and the food was all ready . I set the dishes ready and set the dinning before I went to inform the two. When I got to the living room , The two were in a little make out session .

I had to feign a couch so that they could know that I was here . Finally the three of us sat in the dinning and started to east our food. Unexpectedly, we were back to being normal . we talked regularly. With the way my best friend was bringing all the chats , the awkwardness between Chad and I was gone. Though we never really much , still we were never in any form of tension until this point.

After the food was all eaten up , I still chose to wash the dishes but Natasha tried to stop me but up to the end of it , I won over. I wanted to be alone and leave the two. i was in the kitchen washing all the dishes when I suddenly felt a presence behind me. I just hoped it was not him as I did not want to get into any more trouble.

I tremblingly looked back just to confirm my suspicions and he was there standing with his hands akimbo. I felt all panicking. What did he want here where I was washing the utensils from yet his girlfriend was just in the next room.

I opened my mouth but nothing came out of it even when I tried several times to make an attempt of at least saying something. The way he was looking at me was equally getting me insane. The next thing that he did got me more ‘crazy.’
