The council departed the Island a few days after the meeting, Adreana on the other hand remained behind. according to her she wanted a hands on in the battle against Eric, thou we all knew it was to keep an eye on Alexander and I.

I dint know what history they had together, but i know there was one because Adreana's attitude is that of a jealous woman, not a vampire who doesn't believe in werewolves and vampires coexisting, i swore i would find out to make sure i play my cards well in the battle between us as i am one hundred percent sure Adreana and i will be having one.

i made my way into the training room. In order to make sure we won this battle our training had intensified, we all needed to be able to manage all weapons and not just one. we didn't know what Eric was going to be throwing at us and in order to survive this battle and win we wanted to make sure we had the upper hand.

so far I had mastered an MK14 EBR, an M2010 ESR and a SIG SAUER P228, not to mention my babies i always carry with me, but i didn't believe that to be enough I wanted to become stronger, more trained so i kept pushing myself, i didn't only mastered a few more weapons, my defensive and offensive combat had improved.

some of the guys were already training when i arrived to the training room, I was a bit annoyed to find Adreana so close to Alex but i ignore her, i headed towards Anya in the far corner of the room were she was concentrated writing something down in a book.

"hey sis" i greeted "what are you doing?" i asked sitting next to her.

"nothing really" she answered "I was just choosing dates i thought would be perfect for our wedding" she added with a smile.

"WHAT" I shrieked "you guys finally made up your mind" i exclaimed

"yes" she said shyly "Mat and I would like to have a wedding as soon as possible, nothing fancy but we want to finally make it official" she whispered.

"would you like to be my wedding planner s***h maid of honor" she asked

not being able to contain my excitement any longer, i jumped and started shrieking like a little girl who was just awarded with the biggest cotton candy she could ever have.

"yes, yes, yes" 

Sarah, Chiara and the rest joined our little celebration.

"what is going on?" she asked

I filled them all in on Mat and Anya's secret and started my role as maid of honor s***h planner.

"Sarah, you will be on dress duty and I don't only meas wedding dress, I mean maid of honor, brides maids the whole works, that includes the groom and his boys" i said "Chiara, your job is to prepare the best wedding menu of the century, and as for the rest of you, i will need help setting up the ballroom.

"come on guys, practice is over we are more than prepared for this battle but I want to make sure my big sis gets the best wedding." i informed

"how can you expect to win this battle if you don't take training seriously" said Adreana in a venomous tone.

i didn't hold back, i turned and attacked Adreana, i didn't have to use all my strength with her, if i did i would have probably ended up killing her, part of my training was to be able to use the power Alex and I without him being present and I had manage to control it, but with Alex and I in the same room, the power would reflect with a higher intensity, reason why when I attacked Adreana I made sure Alex was far away from us.

Adreana tried countering my attack but it was too late the blow i had thrown her way lander straight into her jaw taking her down.

I walked up to her. "iv'e put up with your constant bitching about me and Alex's relationship" i roared " iv'e also put up with your flirting with my mate, but don't you dare second guess my intentions with this battle," at this stage i was furious "my parents were murdered right in front of me by Eric's men, I grew up without knowing my family" i continued "do you know how screw up it was for me to find out eighteen years later what I was and that i was partly to blame for my parents death" i laughed ironically 

"b***h you have it coming for you if you keep on pulling my strings trying to find out what my ugly sides looks like, because i can assure you that its dark, very very dark." i said as I stalked out of the room.

I was out by the pool at the back of the mansion, my mind was too busy with my sister's wedding to have a b***h like Adreana cloud my mind.

i could feel him long before seen him, i turned and smiled at my mate. "hi baby" i greeted "hope you are not coming out here to scold me for ass-whopping your vampire girlfriend" i said sarcastically thou i could see Alex didn't find the humor in my joke cause his face was hard.

"I understand that she over stepped her boundaries, but did you have to break her jaw" he scolded "even thou she heals fast, a broken jaw bone takes time and is a bit painful" he added

"sorry, maybe next time she will stop trying to annoy the s**t out of me" i respond

he exhaled "Adreana and I were once a couple" he explained "it was before my mother revealed to me about you, we were going to form a pact to make both our clans the strongest of all, i wasn't in love with her, even thou being a pure blooded vampire allows me to have humans emotions but she was infatuated and the idea of power and being with one of the rares vampires appealed to her, when i broke it off and told her that it would happen she was pissed, she wasn't powerful enough to try anything against me so we parted, later on she was called to be part of the council, she even thought that she would used that to influence my father into forcing me into a marriage with her. it almost succeed until i found you." he said proudly 

"my father never went against prophecies, specially not against the visions of a seer. he wasn't proud of us being together, a vampire and a werewolf but he knew there was no way around it" 

"that is why he supported us from the start" I interrupted 

"yes" he confirmed

"Adreana will not be a problem anymore" he informed "I've spoken to her and explained to her that I don't only love you, but that you are also a part of me, something she will never be even thou we are both vampire and also that her and i being together will never happen. even if you dint exist.

i pulled my boyfriend in for a kiss.

a few minutes later we were on our way towards the infirmary were Adreana was, i had decided to try and make peace with the vampire b***h for the sake of this battle.

we stood outside the door.

"I think I should go in alone" i told him and made my way into the room were Adreana was being taken care of.

I didn't really like the sight of the women before me, but she had caused it on her self and i couldn't undo what was already done.

"Adreana" i started but she stopped me

"before you start apologizing, let me go first" she begged "i am not used to not having what i wanted, the idea of having Alexander as my husband has being something ive wanted for over a century and it was taken from me, by a mere prophecy that no one really knew to be true," she confessed "I've tried to force Alexander to be with me in many ways but i was never successful and it all became more of an obsession thou i cant deny that having him as more than ally would allow my clan the upper hand in any battle," "but having him turn me down for a werewolf, was a humiliation that I couldn't accept.

"princess Lena" she turned to face me "I know we started this all with the wrong foot, and I am hoping we can forget the pass and look forward to the future. i know you have no reason to believe me, but i sincerely would like to join forces with you and your pack. please forgive me for my previous act and allow me to remain as part of your army to bring Eric down" she said

"the truth is that Alexander has open up my ayes to all my childish behavior and thou I still dont believe a werewolf and a vampire should be together, I cant continue to be blinded by my own obsession and stand against you and Alexander because ive already seen that you both belong together and you will fight against everyone and everything to keep that love afloat and believe me you will have a lot to fight against because the Council might be OK with you both being together for now but who knows until when will they maintain that decisions," she said

"either way i would like to fully support you both" " i do this sincerely" she offered "besides i doubt my body could fully handle another punch like the one you gave me earlier" she joked

"Adreana first i would like to apologize for hitting you" "but i cannot deny that I enjoyed doing so" i admitted "but yes, i would love to have you at my side in battle.
