The Council

today the council will be arriving, Alexander went back to Chicago to ensure the council were escorted safely during their trip to the Island.

rooms were prepared as they all would be staying here since we had implemented a better security method, I must say Ethan was right the security system has proved to be top of the top and very well functional as we had tested it in various occasion.

everyone here was on duty, we hardly had any time to hang or even be with our mates, Chiara had joined the pack as she said she would a few weeks ago and she and she and Andre had their house on the far end of the Island, a small chateau overlooking the lake.

Alex and I haven't talked about where we would be living, for now all i want is the safety of my family as well as the council and that means leaving personal decision until when all the madness was over.

a banquet was been prepared in honor of the guest Chiara was overlooking the Kitchen making sure the food was fit for our guest, meanwhile Anya, Sarah and Mat were preparing the banquet hall while Andre and myself checked the perimeter making sure everything was in order.

"Princess Lena"it was one of the guards communicating through the surveillance earpiece we each carried "the helicopter with the rest council members is preparing to land" he informed.

i made my way to the helicopter landing to receive the Council.

my grand father and parents were already receiving the members when i arrived.

"ladies and gentlemen" introduced my grandfather "this is my grand daughter, Princess Lena Hauteville"

"my pleasure meeting you" i responded "i look forward in conferring with you all" i said

later on on that evening, we were all in the banquet hall, enjoying the wonderful meal the chef had prepared, Chiara never ceased to  surprise me, thou she wasn't tonight's chef, i know the entire menu was her doing.

dinner went well, the council members enjoyed their meals as well of the selections of wine and cocktails that were made, by the end of dinner, we were being complimented by everyone on how marvelous we had set everything up.

i saw Alexander with his father King Damien Stephanos in the middle of a discussion so instead i headed towards my mothers table and sat beside her.

"so" she said "tell me about you and Alexander, i want all the details"

i turned to were Anya sat with Nick, Chiara and Andre, i knew she couldn't keep her mouth shut for a change.

i begun to tell my mom about Alex and I, about how he was the same guy that had broke my heart in New York but that he didn't meant to do it.

"i am so happy for you" she said "he seems to be a nice person and vampire or not all i want is for him to make you happy, and if he does then you have my blessing"

i gave my mother a hug as tears threaten to fall.

"thanks mom" i replied "i assure you that he is amazing"

after a few hours of catching up with my mother I decided to call it quits and headed for my room only to find Alex standing outside my bedroom door.

I was so happy i ran the rest of the way and straight into his arms allowing him to fill me with his passionate kisses.

i open the door to my room allowing us access to enter, as soon as i was in i stripped myself of my clothes and headed into the bathroom.

after a few minutes Alex joined me.

"i missed you my beautiful princess" he whispered

"i missed you too" i confessed 

i wouldn't normally allow Alex into my bedroom in order to respect my grandfather, but honestly i missed him terrible and been away from him had taken a toll on me.

after showering we decided to keep it pg and headed to bed.

for the first time in weeks i had sleep peacefully, having Alex near me was something i knew i needed.

I woke up to the sound of my Alex's snore, it was such a good thing to hear him, feel him and see him sleeping next to me. i never thought i was ever going to admit this, but i am so prepared to have a man in my life for all of eternity and that man is Alexander Stephanos.

i slowly made my way to take a shower, making sure i didn't wake Alex up.

a few minutes later i walk out to find Alex was already dress and waiting, i walked up to him and gave his a kiss.

"miss me" i asked 

"always" he responded holding me tight in his arms "but as much as i missed you, the council meeting starts in thirty minutes and we are to attend so lets go" he said

on our way to the meeting room, we stopped in the kitchen to retrieve a carry cup of my favorite latte and a few bagels.

we arrived to the meeting room earlier than the council members which was good because it gave us time to eat our bagels.

one by one the council members arrived, Lucinda the high witch, my grand father, King Damian, and a few other member i didn't recognized, who Alex introduced as Adreana a vampire princess from Romania, Edoardo a warlock from Spain and Claude a were wolf from French clan, at the back stood each of our second inn command that applied to Ethan and Anya as well.

well it seems that we are all here, lets begin to discuss the issue at hand, said King Damian, Eric and his allies has been causing enough trouble it is time to put a stop to this before his force become unstoppable, we have reinforced all of our homes with the same technology and measurements in order to fortify our them against any surprise attacks.

"YES" assured Alex "every single on of our forth have been upgraded with the best of the best in technology as well as hard training and the best in weaponry, you can say we are impenetrable.

"I must say that we have done a series of attack drills and everyone has proven that we are prepared for whatever Eric has" i informed "thou we are not waiting around for that to happen anymore, we are taking the attack to him this time around" i continued " Eric has done enough damage to our people and has dragged our family name through the mud for far too long, i will not allow him to continue."

"and how exactly are you planning on stopping him" questioned Adreana with a smirk on her face

"i am not planing on sugar coating this meeting" i exclaimed "i know exactly that you already know that Prince Alexander and I have mated, and i am not here to ask any of you for permission or approval, there are things that are out of our control and as Werewolves our mating is sacred" i said "one thing is for sure thou, Alexander and I are very powerful together and whatever happens between us, is our choice and no one else's.

"how can you say that its only your choice" demanded Adreana "vampires and werewolves cannot be together.

"yes like how a vampire and a witch couldn't be together" i answered irritated at her tone "look were that got us "a witch was ban from her coven because she had a vision that would save the future and then killed for ensuring her visions were fulfilled, my parents were murder because they tried to protect me and Eric is out their picking us off one by one.

"how does keeping Alexander and I from fulfilling our destiny going to help" i asked 

no one answered.

"exactly what i though" i snapped "you all believe that following rules and forcing your children to be like you will make the supernatural world run smoothly, but guess what it is that mentality that has Eric killing people right now" i said glaring at the members.

"the thing is Alexander and I have a bond that no one will be able to break and like it or not together we are a powerful force, the only one able to stop Eric and his allies from taking over the supernatural world, so unless you have a better Idea than allowing Alex and I to take Eric head then it is decided." i declared

" also I apologize if i was disrespectful towards you all, but i cannot pretend not to know that you believe that Alexander and i shouldn't be together just because of who we are" i said

"i will not add anything more to what Lena said" said Alex "but I agree with her, we are better together and I know we can destroy Eric" he declared

"father" he turned to the King with pleading eyes "Lena is part of my life, she became part of my life long before i met her and even before i knew were destined to be together, unless you are willing to sacrifice us both, there isn't anything else to do or say." he offered

"well the meeting didn't go the way i expected it to" said King Damian amusement in his tone "but i gave in to the council once and nothing came out of it, you have my vote on doing things your way and also my blessings on being together" he comforted

"i am also in favor" agreed the high witch

"so do I" said my grand father

"and I" said Edoardo and Claude in unison

"i will agree to the attack on Eric, but i will never agree to a werewolf and a vampire being together" said Adreana as she walked out the room.

with that the council meeting was over and next was our battle against Eric Hauteville.
