the King arrived, it was strange how despite the fact that I had never meet him i could now feel the power he radiates, everyone around him is always reverent, or maybe it is fear?
"Lena" said my grandfather "i will not waste anymore time getting into details about your past, you will one day come to know the truth, however i will tell you about your future" he continued "my dear grand daughter I believe the time to release your power has come," "we initially band your powers because of the great threat your Uncle King Eric had imposed, sadly the danger we were expecting has come to pass and it is greater then we anticipated.
"King Eric has allied with one of the most dangerous clan of vampires, a clan of rogue vampires band from the Super natural realm centuries ago because of the disagreement they on on on our decision on forming the council" said my father "
my grand father's eyes showed no sign of the anger i felt radiating from his body
"Eric, his pack and the clan of rogue vampires are heading to Washington state. Currently the home of the High witch, who is also the representative of all witches on the council," "we have took precautions and evacuated the high Witch out of the City and into my home for the time being, but we need to understand the reason Eric has for going into the witches territory and take actions immediately."
"Princess" interrupted my mother "every Wolf receive their powers on their eighteen birthday as I mentioned before," she continued "this year, on the date of your birthday we will experience a Blood moon which will enhance your transformation and joined with your Vampire blood give you a power no supernatural being has ever possessed," she explained
my sister who was quietly sitting in the corner sat beside me holding my hand in sign of support.
I looked at her briefly smiling letting her know i appreciated her standing by my side, in moments like these her support is very important to me.
I turned to my grand father asking him the question that has been taunting me since i found out the truth about my past and the murder of my parents.
"I know that you lost a daughter, and practically lost me the day my parents were murdered, but i want to know what will happen with my parents?" " I mean my adopted parents, if i leave here with you, will they remain here?"
I could see my question took both my parents by surprised.
"Grand father, i am not leaving my family behind; they have been my anchor, my strength even thou i didn't know that it wasn't a coincident that they adopted me, they have been my everything and have loved and supported me for years, they have never treated me like an outsider, I was always one of their own so wherever I go so are they" i said with determination.
my grand father laugh at my outburst, i t was the first time since yesterday that i had actually seen him relax.
"my dear grand daughter, you are as outspoken as your mother was", he replied "but to put your mind at ease, Frank here is my second in command" " i would have never sent anything but the best, my most trust worthy warrior to watch over my precious Grand daughter," " so yes your now family will also be coming back home with us." he informed
i could not contain the excitement, i ran to my grand father and hugged him.
"thank you, thank you, thank you," i squealed
i turned to my parents and sister and then to my grand father, and i knew then that i had to do whatever was in my power to protect my family, the family that took me in eight years ago and the family iv'e now come to be a part of.
"I am ready, i will allow my powers to be released and no matter what it takes, i will destroy King Eric, I will make him pay for the murder of my parents, for taking away part of my life away from me," I vowed
