Chapter 8Johnny wished there was another Q&A scheduled for the con and not just this one. As awkward as a couple of the questions might’ve been—he needed to ask Ryan how fans had found out he’d missed a visit home last Christmas or why they thought he was addicted to gummy bears—their genuine love for the show had filled the ballroom, reminding him why he’d been so excited about coming in the first place. Unlike the cocktail party, he hadn’t felt like a fraud on that stage. He loved his work. They loved the result. Everybody won.
He wanted this feeling to last forever.
