Chapter 7Despite what Ryan said, Rachel was not a fan of Johnny’s. To be completely honest, Ryan had no idea why she did watch Shadows and Souls. She posted multi-page rants after every new episode, critiquing every plot point, line of dialogue, and stage direction, she never had anything kind to say about any of the actors, and she appeared to be genuinely surprised that the show was picked up for a second season. Why she spent her time watching a show she hated, Ryan couldn’t say. Why she would pay money and travel all the way to Lake Tahoe to participate in a fandom convention was an even bigger mystery.
