Servants were beneath him, so they had to be treated as dirt. If you are the master you must establish dominance over others. Not letting others step over you, not allowing anyone to defy you. Those were the crazy ideologies that the man followed and sadly it wasn’t only him… Many others would follow in those same ideas and mistreat the servants that worked so hard to make sure everything in their estate as perfect… and most servants didn’t have the free choice of leaving the estate or doing anything else with their lives besides being servants.
Most would call those ideals he had, his own morals and such but a man like Michel Handler had no such things as values or morals in general. He was the way he was because of his lack of any shred of human
