CHAPTER SIX
Lysis rose out of the water and walked on to the vacant beach. He looked around and knew this is where the others were, but he couldn’t see anyone yet. “Guys, come on. Let’s not play these stupid little games, I know you’re here,” he said to himself and walked forward. Then a voice came out of the dark ahead of him.
“Games are never stupid, brother. I’m glad you could make it to our reunion,” an Asian man said to him, walking out. His eyes were solid yellow, however. “Yokaiju, leader. I did not know you were watching,” Lysis said with a small amount of fear.
“No fear, these humans make great hosts don’t you think?” he asked Lysis. “Yes, I think they make great hosts, whales, not so much but they’ll do if you’re in a hurry. I do miss my original body, any idea where that is?”
