Gloria and Emma were sitting in a restaurant as she was still shocked by the news, their food finally came and she still hasn't asked Emma any questions yet, Emma knows of Abby but before they can be friends Abby graduated early.
"I was asking because I saw him in a club opening a few months back and last week I saw his picture in the newspaper" Gloria said
"Oh, yeah Sofia. She's nice I guess only met her once during the summer when Demetri went back, he looked so head over heels for her which was weird cause they only met like a week after Demetri went back to Italy" Emma said.
"Oh, well let's hurry and eat there is another place we need to go" Gloria said.
Emma nodded her head, Gloria made an apology to Abby secretly in order to know the father of her godchildren she needed Emma and the only way Emma wont speak about this anybody and she means anybody is when she goes inside a church. I know it's weird but for Emma having a religious family and her going to church on Sunday's she once told Gloria she had a secret so bad that she couldn't tell anybody but when in the church its like god is judging her, same goes for when she is told to keep a secret only if they are in a church. So, Gloria knows Emma's weakness so the two girls ate and when Gloria said to go to the church Emma was shocked, she knows Gloria doesn't go to church but she still does pray but isn't really serious like her and her family.
"Why do you suddenly want to go?" Emma said.
"I want to make a confession" Gloria said.
They pull up to the parking lot Gloria got down and asked Emma to come with her, they went inside the went towards the first two rows as Gloria and Abby sat down she looked at cross, she didn't know why she was nervous maybe it was because this was her first time stepping in church and she about to make a cunning plan.
"Emma whatever I say you promise you wont tell anybody?" Gloria said
"Of course, this is between me, you and god" Emma said
"Okay you promise, like swear to me Emma" Gloria said.
"I swear, is this something bad? Did you kill somebody?!" Emma said
"No, just promise me" Gloria said
"Okay since it's not a crime but I promise you Gloria as god as my witness I shall not tell a soul" Emma said.
Gloria nodded her head, Gloria looked forward she couldn't look Emma in the face. Again Gloria said a silent sorry to Abby again.
"Demetri got Abby pregnant and Demetri doesn't know and we cant tell him or Abby will be stress out if Demetri knew" Gloria blurted out quickly
Gloria waited, a second pass nothing the finally a minute pass and still nothing so Gloria turn towards Emma, she was pale as a sheet with wide eyes looking Gloria but she wasn't looking at her she just zoned out.
"Emma?" Gloria said
She poked Emma's cheek nothing then she slap her shoulders hard that's when Emma snap out.
"Ow!" Emma yelled out
Which earn them about lot of shushing sounds, Emma mouth a sorry then looked back at Gloria.
"Tell me everything" Emma said
Gloria nodded her head. Abby was rubbing her belly as she helped her father pack his lunch for work he had to leave early because one of the workers had to leave early.
"Make sure you get dinner" Arthur said.
"I will, I'm craving Italian and I know that Papa Russo is up the streets. Make sure you eat too" Abby said.
"Don't worry, I will get something on the way" Arthur said
She gave him, his bag of lunch and gave him a kiss and saw him off to work, Abby went and grab her purse and phone, locking up she walk towards the end of the street to catch a cab, she got their and saw they were full.
"Hello welcome to Papa Russo" the greeting lady said.
"How long is the wait?" Abby said.
"An hour to two" the lady said.
"Well can I order?" Abby said.
"Sofia?!" they heard
Abby was waiting for the lady to respond but when she felt someone tap her, she turn and saw an older man same age of her father.
"Oh, I'm sorry dear I thought you were someone I knew" he said
Abby looked at him and he looked familiar to her.
"It's fine, I was just waiting for an open but I think I should just take it to go" Abby said nicely
The man saw her big stomach, and felt bad.
"Is it just you?" he asked
"Yes, the kids and I were craving Italian and I saw online this is the best place" Abby said.
"Well as the owner I am glad. Why don't you follow me and I can get you a seat" the man said
"Is that okay, I mean a lot of people are waiting" Abby said.
"No we cant have a pregnant lady waiting. Please follow me" the man said
Abby followed him way into the back corner, taking a seat.
"Thank you Mr. Um sorry I didn't get your name" Abby said embarrassed
"Mr. Russo, second partner of Papa Russo" Mr. Russo said.
"Thankyou, I am sorry to ask any chance relation to an Emma Russo" Abby said
The only Russo she knew of is Emma from school she was her tutor in a couple of classes, she wondered how she was doing.
"Yes, my niece. Her parents sent her here for school" Mr. Russo said.
"Oh, I knew her from school, I was her tutor in a couple of classes in high school. How is she?" Abby said.
Abby felt at peace with this man and the smell of food, that they talked and Mr. Russo had Abby try all the recipes on the menu.
