Nadine POV I groggily reached over to hit the snooze button on my alarm clock, but then I remembered - today was my first day at the USL Medical Center. Excited and nervous, I quickly sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. The soft glow of the streetlights outside dimly lit the room, casting long shadows across the floor. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart as I prepared for the day ahead. Today was important; it was my chance to make a good impression and introduce myself to everyone on the hospital staff that I will be working with.
