“So, Napoleon waged a war for twelve years, only to surrender? He doesn’t sound like so much of a man.”
Jane smiled as she closed the book they had been reading from. She stood up then, and walked over to the wall where she hung the map that contained all the places where the Napoleonic war had been fought. It has been four years since the war ended fully, nevertheless, it was a part of the great history of Britain and it would never be forgotten.
“He had no choice, Rain. He had been defeated several times. He seems like a great man to me. He made France into a greater country than it was when he met it, and he fought the enemies when they arose against his country. I think, he fought a good fight,” Sky replied her sister.
