It’s morning and Olivia is still all cuddled up in bed, turning over and reaching out to touch Lucas the stranger from last. “Oh no” she opens her eyes quickly. The stranger was gone. Her eyes widened at the faces she’d seen in the room. Too many scornful eyes were looking down at her. There was her stepsister Ava smiling mischievously. “What happened?” Olivia asked confused. “Olivia how could you? How could you be so stupid. Alex has loved you faithfully all these years and this is how you choose to pay him back? You cheated on Alex you ungrateful slot?” Ava blurted out. Olivia started to panic “oh my goodness someone must have spiked my drink. I was drugged last night I swear” Olivia cried out. Alex entered the room in a rush. “What in the actual f**k is going on here? Olivia” he called out in a rage. “I never knew I was planning to marry a slot. How could you be so ungrateful? I gave you everything you ever wanted. Am I not good enough for you?” “Please calm down Alex and let me explain. I was drugged last night believe me” she wraps herself up in the duvet and moves hurriedly to Alex. She knelt down and cried, holding his leg she said “Alex I’m sorry I didn’t know what happened to me last night. Please believe me.” He frees himself from her grip and said coldly “you and me are over. Stay very far away from me. I’m disappointed in you. You disgust me” With those words he stormed out of the room. Olivia cried as she struggles to stop him from leaving. Olivia’s father was furious. He held her throat and lifting her head up he said “you’ve ruined everything for me you ungrateful child. You’re a disgrace to the Jacobs family. You want to make the Jacobs a laughing stock in Crest valley. You’re not worthy to be a part of the Jacobs.” “Dad you’re hurting me, please stop” Olivia said amidst tears. Ava said mockingly “Dad please don’t kill her. I mean, not yet.” She rolled her eyes and smirked at Olivia. “Mom please help me” “Don’t call me that. I am not your mom. I am very different from that cheap w***e you call a mother. I’m pretty sure she is rolling up in her grave right now. She will be so disappointed in you.” She spat furiously at her. Olivia was hurt. Those words pierced deeply into her soul. “From today you are no longer the heir of the Jacobs family’s inheritance. You’re no more a part of the Jacobs family. I’m sending you abroad never to show your face again.” With those words he left her. She cried bitterly and covers her face in shame. “Grab your things and come with me. You’re leaving this minute.” He said and walked out of the room, Clara walked behind him.

Ava moved towards Olivia and said “I hope you enjoy your new life” she laughed and left the room. Olivia was confused. She couldn’t remember anything from last night. She tried so hard to recall all that happened. She only remembered bumping into someone. She tried so hard to remember who it was but it wasn’t clear. She picked up her clothes, had her bath and dressed up. She was too embarrassed but she managed to walk pass a few people before she got to the elevator. Coming out she saw Ava holding her luggage. She thought ‘how come she already has my luggage packed’ “hey Olivia I saved you the stress of packing up, let’s go already” she dragged her to the car.

Olivia cried her way to the airport. Everything and everyone around her didn’t hesitate to abandon her. She cried harder as she wished her mom were alive. Even though she never liked Alex she didn’t expect the end to be this bitter. At the airport Ava helped carry her luggage out from the car trunk. She walked side by side with Olivia and whispered. “Life can be quite unfair, just know when to stop. You have been constantly getting in my way. Everything and anyone I liked you got. Dad insisted on you marrying Alex instead of me. Why’s that? I’m prettier than you are.” She giggled and continued “you are no match for me. I’ll always win” she smiled. “Ava so you did this to me?” She stopped and looked Ava on the face “why are you doing this? You made me go through all of this because of Alex? You know I don’t like him. You could just tell me you wanted him” “that’s not all, you keep getting everything I was meant to get. Dad made you his heir. Why? Oh c’mon Olivia I hate you so much and I desperately want you out of my way. Yes you can’t even stop me” she smiled and continues walking. Olivia was devastated. ‘Why is Ava this bitter, I’ve done nothing wrong to her’ she thought to herself but she couldn’t do anything about it. She just cried.

It was time for her to go. She looked back at her said family, tears dropped down her cheeks. Her parents kept their distance, they didn’t want people to see her with them. Ava handed her luggage to her and said “now that you’re gone, I’ll take good care of Alex” she smiled. “Ava you’re shameless” Olivia said collecting her luggage from her. “You can have everything you’ve desired all these years. I hope you can live with yourself after this. You’re wicked Ava” she said and walks away. “I’ll miss you dear sister” Ava said out loud. “Not even a ‘goodbye sister hug’ not fair”
