"Zoey!" Noah quickly knelt down before the battered female assessing her.
She was pale and extremely malnourished with pink and purple bruises all over her body.
Her once healthy and full red hair was thin and cut in various places.
"What happened to you --- how are you--" the female let out a soft whimper of pain and he picked her up in his arms holding her closely to his heart.
She smelled like Zoey and even looked like her but for some reason, he felt like something was missing, he didn't feel the same complete feeling he felt when he was with her.
