We had a lot of moments of silence during the dinner. I don’t know, but I felt more comfortable when we were just eating and not speaking. I prayed that it would last like that alone. Porter let his utensils down and wiped his lips with the napkin. “Eat more,” he told me while eyeing my food. The food here is good. I have to correct what I first thought when I saw the food being served. They are not like those in other restaurants. There is a distinct taste that would make me want to eat more. If I am not with Porter now, I would easily eat all of the steak and pizza. “It’s been only a few days but I think you’ve gotten a little thinner,” he commented. “Are you even eating at all?” I bit my lip and put my fork and knife down.
