CHAPHER 5: THE NEXT VICTIM

Ejiro's face full of confusion and questions, what should I do, eji thought to himself, if only Yuri was around at a time like this, I would rely on him, he seem to have answers to any question cause he was smart ,while walking back to school in deep thought.

Shiro stood in front of the David Academy, while rolling his pen around his fingers.

“Oh yah, oh yah” he said to  himself, what do we have here, My deduction are always accurate, that boy seem to be wrap up in this case one way or the other,” while he was yet speaking to himself, he saw a junior S. P. P. D officer with same uniform,  he was on a trilby hat, white straight hair, sharp pair of blue eyes, mid-length black top coat with big buttons with S.P.P.D engrave at his back, he was tall but shiro was taller, normal skin.

"Hey" freeman, shiro” shouted from a distance,

"Why are you here sensei? Freeman frowning

"What happen here? shiro questioned

“Why I should tell you?, ” freeman replied while scratching his neck,

“U still with that habits of you scratching your slim neck, that's why I abandon you in the middle of night, shiro nonchalantly spoke up, freeman cuts in angrily,

“And you took the damn key, left me stranded like a beggar in Florida, locking my ATM ,my wallet, and my passport in the car and then you disappeared till now.

“Shiro rolled the pen around his fingertips, a gleam from his eyes as he glared, with a serious face at freeman, intimidating him.

"Reports" shiro questioned.

“The victim was possessed, freeman replied, it seem the ghost has some kind of intelligence and can control people, from my point of view, the ghost hast some kind of control over people who are either depressed or fearful”.

“Well, all ghost caused fear anyway in other to take control, Shiro cuts in

“This case is wired freeman added, there are finger prints on the victim’s necks”

Shiro eyes wide open,” Black finger prints” shiro questioned

“How did you know that sensei? Freeman questioned.

“Something similar happened in my case, and this is the 2nd death that means this case is going to be a serial case with lots of death, if not solve quickly”

Freeman grimaced, “what a pain, I rather prefer enjoying myself on vacation right now”.

“With lots of chick,” shiro added as he raises hand behind his back recalling his glorious vacation moments.

“Some alcoholic drink”, freeman added

“With AC and TV on”, well shut up, shiro said

“Why”, is it wrong”, freeman questioned

“No” shiro replied, alcohol is melt for me, when I was your age, I was still drinking cola and eating bread And you forgot to add barbecue.

They both look at each while freeman scratches his neck,

“Do you have a suspect in mind linked to this case?

Shiro roll his pen around his fingertips, he looks down at freeman as if he was looking down on an insect, gleams in his eyes,

“Who do you think you are talking to, of course I have a suspect already,  Let s head to the school and end this case quickly Hawaii can wait for few more days.”

Back at the king crest school, eji walking to and fro in the school hallway feeling restless, the time was almost two clock ,the student were still waiting for the school authority to tell them what to do however school activities are to be wrapped up by the end of the day. eji felt really dizzy again however he fought his way to avoid sleep, he feared that he might dream 

,The feeling of the ghost knowing that he was watching the entire thing creep him out, eji had tried everything he could from placing match stick to his eyes, drinking of strong coffee, even slapping his face regularly, but the dizziness refuse to let go, it was as if he was on sleeping drugs, so he decided to walk to and fro in the hallway, he walk to the end of the hall and then turns back. His eye wide open.

He saw in front of him, a brown baseball bat floating in midair in the middle of the school hall.

“What? am now seeing things"

He slaps is faces, squeeze his eyes close, then he open it, the baseball bat vanished,

" I thought as much," as he turned opposite direction of the hall, the baseball bat floating in mid air closer to him, the baseball bat was hitting the air as if some punk was hitting his palm trying to intimidate him.

“OK,” “that does it, now officially declared that am insane”, he began to run opposite direction of the hall, the baseball bat flew in intense speed in the air, while running eji turns to look back, the base ball swings itself towards eji.

“SLAM”

The baseball bat hits his head with a bang so hard that he collapse on the stairway.

Christabel and miyu swimming in the school indoor swimming pool with blue and black swimming suits on.

The swimming pool was like any random pool found in schools, rectangular turquoise with sits at the far end of the hall, medium size windows by the left as the sunset fitters bright light through the window giving a bright brown orange color on top the pool water. the duo dived into the pool, before floating on top the pool water, miyu slim body in swimming pool reveal as she backstroke, she spoke as she turns her head toward christabel who was also floating on top the pool.

“Do you think it's related,” miyu questioned unknowing to them that Yukina had died

“What do you mean? Christabel reply

“The death dumping “miyu replied

Christabel frown looking at the direction of miyu,

“ That  is why I opposed Tracy from the get go ,visiting king crest abandoned school ,destroying the charms and talisman was a bad idea, I never sign up for this, you forced me miyu.

“Are you placing blames now? miyu cuts in

“No” christabel replies

“Am sorry",miyu spoke up, "what should I have done, am the only child of my family, being overly protected, I have no friends, no brother to talk to, you like a sister I never had, I just needed someone to talked. Tracy has a bad bossy character, she acts all royal majestic my a*s, since she is the daughter of a billionaire, she feels she can boss people around.

“You have yukina by your side “Christabel replied

“Yukina”, miyu continues “that one, she is too quiet and timid, she obeys everything Tracy says because she does not want trouble, typical you can't beat them, join them type of girl.”

“What are we going to do about it? christabel questioned

“Let’s meet up with yukina mashashiro and then we decide”, miyu dived into the pool water and then she raised her head, wipes the water from her face, her eyes wide open.

Standing in front of her by the edge of the pool, the urban ghost of king crest high school, blood stained gown reaching her feet, her foot was black like the bead on her neck, the beads were medium size and round like a ball similar to beads monks used in prayers, she glared from her blood shot red eyes at miyu , she howled

“kkkkkkyyyyyyaaaaaaaahh”!!! miyu scream at the top of her lungs.

Christabel was deep into the pool water, she raised her head above water, she saw miyu trembling and terrified looking to and fro the swimming pool complex.

“Hey”, “miyu,” have being calling, what's wrong?

what happened? christabel tried to calm shuddering miyu

“I” “I saw her, I saw her, Yukina was right miyu added “,point to the direction where the urban ghost was standing a second ago

“Saw what’?  Christabel questioned

“I saw the the urban ghost of king crest high school”.

“WHAT?

 Christabel raised her eyebrow, she looks around and nothing, miyu swim fast to run out of the pool water and Christabel chases after her,

 “miyu wait, you must have be imagining things”

Christabel deeps her head into the pool ,her eyes wide open

She saw under the water, a ghost with old king crest sailor school uniform, black with red strip color, blood flowing from her eyes, floating under water and she smiles mischievously. Christabel quickly lifts up her head and she screams.

“KKKKKKYYYYYYaaaaaah!! She shoot , swimming with speed ever faster overtaking miyu, she swept like a hungry lizard trying to catch a prey, close to the edge of the swimming pool ,one last dive into the pool ,the duo raised their head from water, staring back at them, face to face, 

A pair of red eyes, her socket was dark popping the red eyes with hair all over her face, teeth like decayed skull, with worms about it, like a roaring lion, the urban howls with her black delayed mouth wide open at the duo .
