As Chance, Chase and Katie arrived at the pack border they were stopped by guards. "No uninvited guests today." One said forcefully. "Really?" Chance challenged. "You know who we are."
Quickly all heads bowed, "My King, so sorry. We will escort you all to the Pack-house."
"Tell me what is happening," Katie ordered.
"My Queen, we are ordered to keep outsiders away." The lead guard reported.
"Why?" Katie asked.
"For our Luna's protection. The Goddess isn't safe around outsiders."
Katie took his hand, "Don't prevent our family from attending." she said very sternly.
"Of course not My Queen," he said quickly.
"Our family includes the Beta, Third, their mates, and kids," Chase added.
"Understood," he said looking at the other guards. Then he instructed them to follow him and he would get them safely to the house.
Chance linked with Katie and Chase, "Something seems off."
They quickly agreed.
As they arrived, Alpha Jackson met them out front, a smile upon his face.
"Welcome, we have been eagerly waiting for you," he said with a fake smile upon his face.
"You know about my family line," Chance said eyeing him.
"Of course, your reputation is well known." Alpha Jackson answered.
"Then why lie? What the hell is going on?" he asked sternly.
"She seriously has four mates?" Jackson asked annoyed.
"They are all her natural mates," Chase said eyeing him.
"We have never had this happen." Alpha Jackson said annoyed.
Katie looked at him, "This?"
"Why should he share?" Jackson yelled out.
"Well, I don't think he should. I think she should reject him since he didn't even bother to wait for her." Chance said cutting him off.
"Wait, what?" Alpha Jackson said looking panicked. "She, she can't reject him."
"Well, she isn't going to reject the two that she married and mated with." Chance said getting toe to toe with him. "Are your guards going to be a problem? Because if they are, I am positive that our guards will enjoy using their bones for toothpicks. Should I remind you what happened to the Hunters and Rogues?" His voice gaining a lot of authority.
Jackson bowed down, "No problem My King." he uttered out.
"I want to make it clear, if something happens to my daughter or any of her mates, I will hold you personally responsible. I would make sure anyone playing a part in hurting them pays dearly. Do you understand?"
"I understand," he said looking Chance in the eye. Terror radiated off him.
"Let us put all this unpleasantness behind us, could you have someone take me to my daughter?" Katie asked with a smile.
"I'll take you myself," he said offering her his arm.
Katie smiled and took it, heading off to her daughter.
"I'm sorry for being such an ass. It's just not supposed to be this way," he said to her as they walked.
"Kylie didn't want anything like this. She was going to reject everyone, she was already married to Jason. She didn't want any more. She knows what will happen if she rejects them so she opened up her heart and accepted them."
"I didn't know that," he mumbled out.
"She met your son last. So please don't get anything twisted, he is lucky she opened her mind and heart to him. I know what you planned on doing to her. If you don't change your way of thinking, you will kill them all. She will die if kept away from the moon, if she dies, so does your son and family line."
"I understand," he said stopping in front of a door. "She is in here."
"Thank you," she said patting his hand and then releasing it to open the door.
"Your other children?"
"Will be along shortly," she said with a smile.
Chance and Chase were met by Brandon and taken to another area of the house.
"How are you feeling?" Chance asked with a smile on his face.
"Good, but Dad, he just doesn't want to accept my situation. We're happy you know? Why can't he just be happy for us?"
Chase eyed him, "You're happy sharing our daughter?"
"It's not what you're thinking. We are a family, we help each other. I really do love her but so do they. I would never ask her to make a choice. This is how our lives were supposed to be."
"That is the right attitude to have." Chance said smiling at him.
Cody looked at them, "It's nice to see you again Alpha Chance, Chase" he shook both of their hands.
"Beta Cody, it's so nice to see you as well." Chance said shaking his hand.
"Cody," Chase said
