Victor felt a cutting pain deep inside him and fell to the ground. Anna ran to his side, screaming for help.
"What's happening?" She yelled, screaming, "Someone help, please help me."
Victor grabbed her leg, "I'm ok." he grunted out. He knew what was wrong.
"Victor you need help," she said her eyes glistening.
Chance heard Anna calling for help and appeared next to them. Seeing Victor's condition, he picked him up and rushed him to the hospital as he linked with Katie.
Victor didn't bother to argue, he didn't have it in him. Once they reached the pack-hospital, Anna opened the door, and Chance placed Victor down on the waiting bed.
"What happened Katie asked?"
"I'm fine," Victor mumbled out, clutching his chest.
Katie looked at Victor, she was confused for a moment. Suddenly her eyes went wide in realization. "He marked her. Your bond. Oh my." She quickly went to the cabinet and filled a syringe and looked at her son with pity in her eyes, she slammed the needle into his arm and he passed out soon after.
Chance looked at Anna, "His bond wasn't already broken? Why would he shut her out then?"
Anna didn't speak, she didn't know what to say.
"I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Chance suddenly said thinking of the words he just used.
"I don't know why he didn't claim her. I think he still can," she said looking at Chance. "I think he still should."
Chance looked at her confused. "Your bond broke, but his didn't. They hurt you more because you trusted them, they lied to you." He looked between the two, "Why do you think he should claim Rosie?"
Anna looked at Katie, "You didn't tell him?"
Katie shook her head, "We didn't tell anyone."
"Tell me what?" Chance asked confused.
Anna looked down, a tear slowly made its way down her cheek.
Katie saw her expression and went to her and hugged her. "It's ok Hunny."
Chance looked at Katie, "Tell me what? What am I missing here?"
"I can't have pups," she mumbled out.
"Shhh," Katie soothed her.
Chance's eyes went wide. "No heir."
"We don't know that for sure honey, it is possible. It may just be harder for you two to have pups."
Anna continued to hug Katie, she felt so sad.
"I'm not enough for him," she whispered out.
"Nonsense," Chance said taking her from Katie. He turned her around, "I want you to think about this for a moment. He could claim both of you, he had his choice, and he made it. Anna, he chose you because he loves you. Don't ever doubt that."
Katie smiled at Chance, he definitely said the right thing.
Anna took Victor's hand and sat down next to the bed. She didn't understand why she felt nothing. Even hearing Vincent had claimed Rosie, well it just left her feeling numb. Shouldn't she be crying or something? She didn't want to share Victor but she couldn't give him the pups he so desperately wanted. Wouldn't Rosie be the best solution for this? She was his mate as well. Anna's eyes were glued to Victor and she didn't hear anything around her.
Katie pulled Chance out of the room.
"Will he be ok?" Chance asked Katie.
"He isn't going through full rejection, just the pain from Vincent claiming Rosie. The same that Vincent went through when Victor claimed Anna. Rosie still feels her connection to Victor. Vincent still feels his bond to Anna as well."
"This is going to be a mess." Chance mumbled out.
"You have no idea," Katie said just as worried.
"We need to get something figured out and quick, Kylie's ceremony is in a few days." Chance said looking annoyed.
"Stop with that scowl," Katie said annoyed.
"Four mates. Four," he said in annoyance.
"You can't get so annoyed. Right now you wish those boys both had two so let's just be happy they all found each other. Please." Katie said trying to calm him down.
"Sometimes mates are not meant to be," he said pulling her into his arms.
"That might be the case but for her, well they love her Chance. Just let them be."
"Luna to three packs, she is already busy enough."
He let out a sigh,
"You will not object. If Jason can accept this situation, so can you."
He nodded, "You're right."
