2. Hide and seek gone wrong

Aurora's p.o.v
I went downstairs after taking a bath and dressing up, mother was in the kitchen preparing lunch as always, I smiled when she turned and faced me.
"You look beautiful." she whispered softly.
"Thanks, mum I was wondering where I could find Seal and Justine." I said while looking at the delicious meal she was preparing.
"Obviously on the training grounds trying so hard to impress the ladies." she answered then held my hand.
"Honey are you okay?" She asked lowly.
"Yeah, I just wanted to go out for a walk with them." I answered simply.
"That's a great idea." she whispered then pulled her hand away from mine.
"I will see you soon, say in half an hour." I said loudly then turned and walked through the passage sadly.
I wasn't really happy, I didn't know why, I felt so damn lonely and sad ever since that hurtful day, around my territory members, I pretended to smile and laugh when in the inside I was hurting.
"Hey." I whispered silently to my dragon hoping she could answer me back, but there was no reply, only silence.
Ever since I was a teenager, I knew my other half was a dragon, I wanted so much to hear and talk to her like everyone did to their other half, but then after that incident happened five years ago, I was so depressed that I angrily shut her out, it took me about three years to pull down the invisible shield I had created mentally between me and my dragon, I knew she was finally free but she couldn't talk to me, I could feel her emotions but never her words.
I walked outside and went to the training grounds where I found a lot of women watching my brothers with giggles.
I looked at them then rolled my eyes when they turned to look at me.
My brothers looked very much alike, the only difference between them was their eye colour and hair, Justine had green eyes, while Seal had grey eyes, they both had a great built, Justine had short hair while Seal was nearly bold and their height was exactly the same, their other difference was their supernatural sides, Justine was a Phoenix while Seal was a Hybrid, half-dragon and half- phoenix, as for me I only had a dragon.
"What's up Aurora?" Justine asked with a smile.
"I was wondering if you guys would love to go out for a walk." I answered earning a grin from Jason, eww, Jason was Justine's best friend, he was quite good looking and very attractive, sadly I felt nothing for him, although he was very open about wanting me as his girlfriend, I
usually turned him down, and usually got sarcastic around him.
"Hey babe, mind if I tag along?" He asked with a wink as I faked a smile.
"How sure?" I answered with a smirk.
"Great." he said happily.
"No babe, I meant, how sure are you, go f**k yourself." I answered as Seal burst out in laughter.
"Oh man, how is it that you don't get used to this s**t? Every time you act nice, she spits crap in your face, give up already." Justine said seriously.
"Nope, I will only give up on her when I die." he answered then walked away after looking at me lustfully.
Justine slowly shook his head while looking at Seal.
"Let's go already?" I screamed then walked ahead as they followed me behind.
"Aren't you a little cold towards Jason?" Seal asked lowly.
"No" I answered bluntly.
"What do you mean cold? She's usually like that towards him and worse at times." Justine said with a chuckle.
"Anyway, where are we going?" Seal asked lazily when we neared our territory's border.
"When was the last time we got in trouble and pissed off Dad and Daddy?" I asked with a smile.
I turned and looked at Seal with a raised brow, Seal looked at Justine who was smiling too.
"No f*****g way!" Seal yelled.
"Way." I answered loudly.
"Hell yeah." Justine backed me up.
"We can't go beyond the border! Dad and Daddy strongly forbid us, they say it is usually dangerous out there!" Seal screamed on top of his voice.
"How old are you? 12? Rules don't apply to me! You should know about that, whatever is created it's meant to be broken, he makes the rules I break them, when was the last time we had real fun? Don't you guys miss the thrill? Don't you miss me? By the way, the rogue territory is now a friendly territory." I said softly trying to calm him down.
"Hey Seal, you know Aurora is right, everything will be okay, and it's not like this will be our first time, we usually played outside the border, this time the difference will be that we have grown up somehow, and he who shouldn't be named won't be in our little group because he was banished."Justine answered as I swallowed hard when I felt a twig of pain forming in my chest.
"Fine, but let's all get back home before sunset." he said as I turned happily and ran past the border while screaming in joy.
"Aurora let's play hide and seek." Justine suggested while they moved quickly to match my running pace.
"How old are you, that's a kids game." Seal answered.
"No! I'm in, Seal you seek, Justine and I will hide." I said with laughter.
"Fine,1....2...
He began to count as I ran into the forest far ahead quickly when I saw a big tree a few meters away I smiled.
I quickly ran there and got behind it with a giggle, it wasn't much of a hiding place but it was enough.
"Where are you? Aurora, Justine." Seal asked loudly using our mind link, I giggled as I waited impatiently.
"Found you Justine." he said with laughter while still using our mind link.
"Not fair, why am I always the first one to be found? This game sucks." Justine complained as I laughed softly.
Poor guy, he was always unlucky in games, be it simple or not.
"Aurora where are you? Something feels off where we are." Justine whispered as I smirked.
He was good, I was sure he was trying to lower me out.
"Aurora come out, we really should go back now, something is definitely wrong." Seal said loudly still using our mind link.
So they were doing this as a team, I shut down our mind link and moved further ahead, they had to do better with those lies to draw me out.
I walked slowly for a few minutes and faced the clear sky, I was getting bored with the stupid game, I mean how long would it take for a hybrid and a phoenix to find me.
I shivered when I felt a cold breeze sweep by me, there was something off, my dragon was a little restless, I could feel and sense an unknown presence near the trees which were next to me.
I quickly turned when I heard a snapping sound, I looked around slowly but I could see a thing, I was getting a little scared.
"Hey guys, let's just stop the foolish game, I just want to go back home." I whispered lowly using our mind link.
I waited for a second but heard no reply, I slowly rubbed my hands together telling myself it was actually a prank they were playing on me, I could tell and feel that someone was staring at me from the trees and bushes.
"It's not funny guys." I said loudly as I slowly took steps backwards.
"Okay fine, I accept, this was really a dumb idea okay." I said loudly.
"Seal talk some sense into Justine, I'm getting scared." I whispered then immediately stood still when I hit into a hard chest, beautiful tangles spread all over my body, I gasped lowly in shock.
These tangles I was feeling only meant one thing, my bond was standing next to me, I was about to turn around quickly when I felt my knees give up, I fell on my knees slowly.
"Sleep." a deep voice commanded giving me a warm relaxed feeling.
I tried fighting the command but my body wouldn't listen, it was a command stronger than my Dads, I had my fathers blood in me so a leaders command was useless, but this command was forcing me to submit, I closed my eyes and fell, but before I could hit the ground, strong hands held me close, I willingly welcome the darkness as the tangles calmed my body and heart.
