4. Falling for his trick

Aurora's p.o.v
I sat on the couch for what seemed like forever, when the door opened, I quickly stood up hoping it was Shane, I frowned sadly feeling so angry at myself for wanting him, Richard walked in and stood next to me.
"Come with me." he said seriously.
"Why?" I asked.
"Just come." he answered.
"No." I said strongly.
"Not this again miss." he whined lowly as I chuckled.
Richard wasn't that bad at all, he seemed cold at first, well he still was, but I wasn't that scared of him anymore.
"I won't move a muscle until you tell me where the hell I'm going." I said as I folded my arms.
I loved playing stubborn, my middle name was stubborn.
"Shane wants to see you." he said lowly as I felt my heartbeat rapidly, I smiled slightly feeling very relieved.
"Wow, do you really want to see him that much." he asked as I cleared my throat.
"No, why say that?" I asked too.
"I wish you could have seen your face when I walked in, your face was pricelessly happy, when you saw it was me not him, you looked very sad and demoralized." he answered honestly as I bite my lower lip.
"If I do go to him, will you let me go?" I asked lowly.
"Of course, you have my word." he answered softly.
I smiled then pointed at the door.
"Lead the way." I whispered.
He opened the door and walked out, I slowly followed, trying to keep up with his pace.
"So what are you to him?" I asked lowly trying to start up a conversation.
"Him?" He asked with a chuckle.
"Yes, the jerk." I whispered as he laughed lowly.
"You know, you are the first lady to ever disrespect him in such a way and he lets you live." he said as I frowned then smirked happily.
"Of course, he would let me live, he needs me, after all, I am his bond." I answered pridefully.
"You are so full of yourself, but... I like that." he said as we walked into a big room that looked like an office.
"Well, I like you too blondy." I answered.
When I heard a low growl I quickly turned and found my bond leaning against the door frame, his eyes were dark lavender as he looked at Richard coldly.
"Shane, it's really not like it looks like." he whispered lowly in fear.
I looked at Richard who was slightly trembling, then at Shane who stood staring at him while emitting a powerful aura that made me tense in fear.
My dragon was telling me to stand my ground and show him we were worthy of him.
"I do like him, just as a friend, but what I feel towards you is different, my body and mind are so drawn to you and I hate that, it's like am being f*****g pulled towards you, f**k, you even rejected me a second ago, remember?" I asked loudly feeling so damn upset with him and my dragon who was already taking his side.
Even though she was quiet, I could feel her emotions and gestures, she was telling me our bond deserved to be upset with me.
His eyes returned to their normal colour when he stood upright.
"Come with me." he ordered lowly.
I looked at Richard for a second then followed him, we walked quietly side by side in the passage, everyone who saw us quickly went the other way, he went upstairs ahead as I looked at his body with a smile.
He was very hot and all mine.
"Stop that." he whispered when we reached the first room.
"Stop what?" I asked.
he opened the door and walked in.
"This will be your room." he said lowly ignoring my question.
Why the hell didn't he let Richard show me my room, wait! My room!
"What the hell do you mean my room?" I asked loudly.
"As in Your room little Aurora.
This mansion is now your new home." he answered seriously.
I huffed angrily then turned to walk away.
under the full moon, you said, "I will forever stand by you, to me you are all I see, "what a f*****g childish fake promise he muttered under his breath instantly making me halt my movement.
I felt my heartache and tears form in my eyes.
On my thirteenth birthday, Shane was insecure about himself, he thought he wasn't good enough to stand by me and I wanted to prove to him he was, under the full moon outside our mansion's territory, I made him a promise which I vowed to keep forever, no one knew about it, it was just the two of us there.
"Shane." I whispered lowly then turned to face him, his face held sadness, I moved closer and held his hands in mine.
"Did you lie to me on your thirteenth birthday." he asked lowly as I tried so hard not to cry.
He really was my Shane, although he looked very different and acted coldly towards me.
I lifted my hand and caressed his cheek gently, it felt good when the tangles erupted between us, he leaned in with a low sigh, he really was my Shane.
"No, I didn't lie, I meant every word, I will stand by your side as I had promised, you are mine and I am yours, even long before this damn bond we now have." I whispered.
He pulled back and smirked coldly.
"Great, now make yourself f*****g comfortable, I wanted you to say those damn words from your own mouth, I know how you would never go back on your own words." he said as I angrily glared at him.
"Did you just trick me?" I asked in disbelief.
"See, you aren't that dumb." he answered then walked out of the room.
I stood looking at the door not knowing what to say or do.
"I am going to f*****g leave tonight, it's time he realizes that I'm not the same little Aurora, I am very different from then. " I whispered and walked out of the room making sure I was out of everyone's sight.
