Xavier walked out of his room full dressed as a King he is; he walked up to his throne room with his personal knights following his every step. He walked in, a servant had already announced his presence before that. He walked up to his throne as everyone had their head bowed down in respect.

He sat on the throne, looking towards his right, he sighed seeing the empty throne of his Queen. He looked forward ordering everyone to raise their heads. His knights stood behind him; they all were best among the best; they were the ones who were trained by Previous King; Xavier’s Father Adam Blackwood.

He attended the court room as boring as it was; he would just monotonously give the judgement. Since their kingdom came out victoriously after the war there have been many intruders who wants to enter in the kingdom as a spy. This has been a pain in the neck for him for years now.

“King”

Xavier looked at the old man named Alexander bowing down, this man has been his father’s most trusted adviser. Even though his methods for handling things might be brutal but he always thinks in favour of his country. Xavier nodded allowing him to speak.

“Your Majesty, please forgive my bluntness but you need a Queen; and Sara is a great choice”

Xavier narrowed his eyes Sara is Alexander’s niece and a werewolf as well but she is not his mate. He knows he needs a mate cause if not then he will start growing weak cause his soul will not be complete. He knows what Alexander wants to do.

“Alexander, I respect you for you have accompanied my father for so long but I think in this period you have forgotten that you are an adviser and only an adviser- “

Alexander looked at Xavier with wide eyes, he did not know what just happened. Xavier was speaking with a very calm voice yet he could fell the anger radiating.

Xavier continued happy to see fear in Alexander’s eyes.

“I think it’s time for you to take a rest; you have worked hard enough in your primes now just go back home and travel the world with your wife.”

Everyone knew what this means; Xavier had just dismissed Alexander from court just like that. Everyone could not help but be happy Alexander has always been close to Royal family as he was childhood friend of previous King Adam but now that he is gone, they could have the same spot as Alexander.

Before Alexander could say anything, Xavier dismissed the court and walked out with his knight leaving everyone shocked. He walked to the dinning hall; he had taken care of around 50 matters and now he is tried.

“You should not think too much of what Alexander had said”

The one who spoke was his Prime Minister his childhood friend Noah, who was busy handling the paper work in his study. He came as fast as he can when he heard what happened in the court room; he knows just how sensitive this topic is for Xavier.

“I did not, don’t worry”

Xavier said in a very calm tone sometimes he is very jealous of Noah, who found his mate Emma when he was just eighteen and by now, they have a beautiful two-year daughter Abigail. He patted his worried friend’s shoulder and walked inside the dining hall.
