CHAPTER 6: MATED ?

Ty’s POV

Jax joined me when I was bidding my dads and sister goodbye.

“Happy Birthday, dog”, I wished and gave him a bro hug.

“Who is the dog here, you snake”, he retorted back.

“Jeez ! I was expecting a friendly ‘Thank you’ from you. Ungrateful peeps”, I teased and ran as fast as I could in the jungle.

Jax had shifted into his jet black werewolf, trying to hunt me down and that was purely a wrong move on his part.

My wolf is way faster than any other wolf. I had trained it to match the speed of the fastest of vampires and other than me, I had heard wolves that went for military training were the fastest and most agile.

Although, Jax couldn’t match his speed with mine yet he was the strongest Alpha wolf and it would be a pity for his victim, once he or she came within the radius of Jax.

Hence, I too shifted into my blackish-brown wolf and ran as fast as I could. I was in no mood to get beaten up by that dog.

My legs took me towards a lake and I had left behind Jax a long time back. That sucker would surely wait for me at my home.

He knows I will eventually return to that place. f**k him !

The run had rendered my wolf thirsty and I sat at the edge of the lake, lapping my wolfie tongue in the water.

Suddenly, I smelled the most enticing smell of lemons and musk and my wolf tensed when the smell got stronger and stronger.

A pair of jet black paws similar to Jax’s wolf enveloped my lying wolf form and tingles ran throughout my body wherever the wolf touched me.

I was so incapacitated by the musky lime smell and pleasure of tantalizing tingles that I allowed the topping wolf to have its way around my neck and explore me.

I was so immersed in the pleasure of being loved and explored with electric shocks erupting everywhere the wolf touched me that I forgot to introduce myself or get to know my lover ! I closed my eyes and let the wolf have its way with me with its magically dexterous tongue.

My state of pleasure was suddenly snapped when the wolf grazed its canines along my neck and nibbled my ear just like He used to do !

Fuck no !

I rolled our bodies over and quickly stood on my fours while taking an aggressive stance in front of the majestic jet black wolf that stood in front of me.

All the sextuplets had jet black wolves with a unique white star patch on their foreheads and limbs.

As soon as our eyes met, a blinding silvery spark clouded our eyes and we both said “MATE” together.

Hell no !

Not this cheating bastard.

Annoying piece of s**t.

I would rather die !!

I spent five years in that ghastly academy to escape this living hell of a person and the Moon Goddess dumped me with this scumbag again ?

I would have rather accepted being mated to a rogue than this stupid Alpha.

I just want to get away from here.

Kai’s wolf tried to inch closer but I bared my canines with offensive aggression which made him whimper and stumble back.

He shifted into his human form and flung his arms up in surrender.

“Ty ! Please hear me once I- …. ”

I growled fiercely cutting him off mid sentence. I was in no mood to hear his s**t and I was so done with him.

The problem was not that he had been drugged and cheated on me. The problem was that he made me bitter about love as he never attempted to even stop me that night. He had ten f*****g hours to approach me and clarify things.

Instead, he chose to let me go with misunderstandings in my heart and made me relive the pain for five f*****g years.

Wasn’t communication always the key to a relationship ?

Sucker. Dumb wolf. i***t.

“Ty, I am sorry. I didn- …. ”, he started again.

What is wrong with this fucker ? Does he not understand that I don’t want to hear his ranting or dramatic reconciliatory speech.

Does he really think that I will fall in his stupidly warm arms and forgive him for five years of torture that I had to endure because of him ?

It is a blooming miracle that I haven’t snapped off his head yet and gone rogue.

I quickly turned away from the pathetic wolf in front of me and ran away as fast as my legs could carry me.

The sextuplets were were-vamp hybrids afterall and Kai was strongest among all of them in his Vampire form.

He had trained under Alpha Victor and Aunt Stella directly during his formative years and I knew he could ultimately catch up on me if I didn’t run faster and fly off in my dragon form.

I quickly ran towards the Cliff of Fires and I could hear Kai’s thunderous and powerful steps striding quickly towards me.

I reached the peak first and as soon as I halted at the edge, I saw Kai stop right behind me, only a few meters apart.

He whimpered and howled sadly. His wolf’s eyes looked glassy as if tears were lacing on them and he once again tried to approach me with guarded, small steps.

Nope. Not gonna fall for these crocodile tears.

I bloody hell hate him.

As he neared to me further, I dropped my body from the edge of the cliff and let my body fall freely under gravity.  

A painfully deadly howl escaped from his wolf and soon I took flight upwards in my dragon form.

I saw him watch me take flight and disappear in the reddish, endless sky.

The Cliff of Fires was a typical battlefield for Dragons and the deadly looking, sharp mountain peeks always burned with fires spread across them in different hues of green, blue, orange and red.

As I was about to circle around a peak, a sharp scream echoed in the air and I knew it was the scream of attack and not from any scout or hunter- it was a painful scream of warning from Kai’s wolf !

Fuck ! What has he got himself into !?
