Lina felt stupefied the whole evening after she woke up. Even in the morning, everything passed through a fog and she could not recall whether she had taken a shower or ate. Once she did it again, she was confused, feeling heaviness in her stomach from so much food. She had a couple of short hours before going to college, but she desperately wanted them to last longer. Facing the two girls, especially Maia, would take a lot out of her.
She wanted nothing more but to stay curled up in the safety of her tiny apartment, alone and without any disturbances.
