When they returned to the Etoile, all eyes were diverted in any other direction, some by complicity and some by envy. Vijai, who had been putting pressure on for hours, tried to approach her daughter with indignation reflected on his face, but Alisha stopped him with an explicit movement of her hand and locked herself in her cabin in order to take a shower.
