When we got back to the institute yesterday, the council were not as happy about the demands from the elves as I thought they would be. All they wanted was equal rights, yet just like they were closed minded about me for all those years, they were also not happy to swallow their pride and allow the elves p*****t and places in the institute. It was disgusting really, the way they saw themselves and their races as being better than the elves, but not able to state why that was the case.
Finally, Caleb stated that if freedom and safety for all the species came at such small a price, why were they even bothering to discuss it?
