“They’re downstairs,” Janice told Sean when he asked. “Use the stairs behind the door to your left when you get into the hallway. It’s unlocked now.” “It usually isn’t?” “Not unless someone’s down there.” She giggled. “Which to be honest is most of the time since Ken virtually lives down there when he’s here.” Following her directions, Sean went downstairs. From a first glance, it was just an average basement. “We’re in here,” Ken called out. Sean walked to the open door at the far end, stepping into a room that said there was more to the basement than most people might have imagined. Computers and screens took up one full wall. Some of the screens showed the exterior of the house and the trees surrounding it. A long table ran down the center of the room, several chairs surrounding it
