I was getting ready for the birthday of my aunt when Isaiah was busy talking to the nurse on the phone. Apparently, the patient he operated on is presenting a new set of signs and symptoms. He’s saying a lot of things while his hand is on his waist. I fixed my hair and makeup before walking to the bed to wait for him to finish talking to the nurse on the other line. When he was, he immediately looked at me and smiled apologetically. I shook my head. “Are you sure you’re okay to go?” I asked him because I’m worried that his mind would be flying off to his patients while we’re at the party. He smiled and sat beside me before kissing my cheek. “Yes, I won’t let you go there alone. I don’t want to have you backstabbing me,” he kidded and chuckled, making me laugh too. “Don’t worry about it
