“I can carry about four people. We will need at least four of us to transform,” Dorian suggested.
Kara, Julius, and Kaya transformed into their dragon forms, each lowering their heads. Rin and Xia joined Cain and Azura on Dorian’s back. Dain, Sasha, Xander, and Kiros mounted Kara while Dastan, Maya, and Lucas mounted Kaya. Siena, Bartas, and Nolan leaped atop Julius back and readied themselves for take-off.
“Everyone, hang on tight,” Dorian cautioned.
“Let us hope that none of us end up falling asleep and plunging through the sky,” Cain said smugly.
Xia turned to face Cain, scowling. “I don’t know why you hate our kind so much, General, but if you insult my friend one more time, I will rip out your throat and laugh while I do it. Is that clear?” she whispered.
