Any excuse would have come into handy right now if I could come up with something. Going to dinner with Corbin and Jimmy while their parents were attending wasn’t something I would like to do while there are unresolved issues between Corbin and Jimmy. Watching Mike pulling up in front of a fancy and expensive-looking restaurant made my stomach turn at the thought of just coming from the track. I was tired, my stomach still feeling a bit fuzzy and I had no intention to sit in on their family dinner. “I don’t think I am dressed for this,” I muttered, getting out of the car and standing next to Mike who showed no concern. “You look fine.
