He was so touchy

1019 Words
Mission Avoid Eric at all costs until this one last month and a week is over. Impossible! He thinks I'm his bestfriend or something. He noticed that I was being distant and asked if I was feeling okay. I felt awkward hugging him or kissing him which I avoided but he always insisted that if we didn't it will blow off our lie. Eric was always touchy, it maybe the fact that we had been intimate before. I guess that changed a lot of things well for me. I knew he didn't do it on purpose. Distracted, I would always find his hand on my thigh or trying to entwine with my hand. I hated it. I was trying my level best to be away from him and he continued getting closer and closer. "Hey Addie, I was thinking since the bridesmaid are more than groomsmen, maybe I could invite my friend to be Elishama's date." I said shunning away all these thoughts about Eric. "Yeah, I'm actually going to bring my almost boyfriend." Mallory said making me and Laura give each other a 'she hasn't had a boyfriend since fifth grade' "Leona, you know how awkward I am.." Elishama whined, I knew she was but Nick was a nice guy and they would get along just fine besides I just wanted Nick to be around since the whole campaign was over, it had ended a week back. "Does he have a nice frame?" Addie quickly yelled from the fitting room. "Yep, I know how you want the pictures to be perfect so yes." I smiled. Laura gave me a questionable look. "He is a stranger!" Laura said dramatically. "He is my friend not a stranger, a very nice guy once you get to know him." I reasoned upon. We were doing Addie's dress fitting. They were still getting her ready, she could hear the conversation from the fitting room. Eric was out with Jeremy and Sam, watching the game. They had mentioned that Chelsea was playing with Barcelona and they were quite frantic. "Bring this Nick guy." Addie finally said and I smiled with triumph. "Tonight at our hang out and Mal bring your guy as well." I smiled yet again with triumph. By our hang out, that meant Addie's hang out. It was a well known and reputable bar in East Valley. I hardly ever went there but a few times when Sam and Laura would drag me there. I was just happy we would be in a public place and I could avoid Eric. Busy myself with the girls and try not to be next to him and be in his arms. "Is he cute?" Eli asked, she had cut her brunette hair into a nice bob cut. I found myself thinking of cutting my hair, I needed a drastic change. I had a tattoo and I guess I had always wanted to dye my hair black. It gave a distinct glow. All the focus would be on the face and not anywhere else. "Super cute." I replied, Nick wasn't the most good looking guy but his attitude made him go from a six to a ten. When Addie finally stepped out with the help of the shop assistant. We all gasped, after having tried more than eight dresses this whole entire day. We were now all tired and grumpy but this woke us up from our slumber. She looked beyond breathtaking. This white dress was simple yet so... elegant. Addie didn't have hips but it outlined her body making her look like she wasn't just straight. Addie stared at the mirror, holding her tears right below her eyes. We all didn't say anything as we waited for her reaction. "I love this one." Addie finally said. "I love it too." I replied a little too quickly clearly excited. "Me three." Laura said. "Me four." Eli added. "Me five... wow" Mallory said in pure aw. "I'm really doing this?" Addie said in a low voice. "We're so proud of you Addie." Laura said standing up to hug her sister, it was an intense but cute moment. My heart was beating because Addie was unpredictable she could easily just say the wedding is over at this moment with no explanation. "Before you know it, Sam and Laura will be getting married and then Leona and Ricky... then well Eli and I will be right here." Mallory said leaving me astound. If only she knew. Eric wouldn't want that, it was impossible. At this point I didn't think I was going to get married. I was tired of meeting the wrong people. I should learn to leave space for disappointment because that's one thing I never do then I end up hurt. "Sam doesn't look like he will be proposing anytime soon." Laura shrugged. "That's because you already gave him the cake.." Addie said swiftly playing around with her dress. "As if you haven't." Laura retorted. "I haven't." Addie said shocking all of us. "Liar!" Mallory said immediately. "Just because I was rebellious in my teens doesn't mean anything. I kept it for myself, not for religious reasons. I wasn't ready yet and we agreed that on our wedding night." "Ohhh.." I said flabbergasted. "Atleast someone here is a virgin." Elishama smirked making Addie turn to look at me. "Even you too Leona?" She said in dismay. "Well Robbie had a reason for dating me so.." I shrugged, it was the honest truth. Same goes for Eric, I thought us being intimate was something special but it wasn't. I just got ahead of myself. He hadn't been with a woman in a long time, like he said, so him being attracted to me sexually was justifiable. "Asshole." Addie muttered. I will try and do a double update. My phone keeps going on and off sometimes even for days. I actually read somewhere that said IPhone 6 have that problem. I will write on my laptop but I'm not used to that, I make much more grammatical errors there. I will update today as many as I can. x
