The time passed quickly. I could count the hours I spent looking out the window, staring up at the sky. Yearning for it to speak to me.  At night, I would look up at the moon. I would question it, its decisions and search for reasons as to why. Why, did I have to watch the back of my mate become more and more distant. It wasn't as if we were close to begin with, but the red string of fate was becoming tighter, the further we drifted apart.  I haven't spoken to Valerius in two weeks.  After our time at the garden, he got busy. Very busy.  I caught glimpses of him leaving and entering the mansion. Men, who I believe were one of the leading alphas along with Valerius, spent days here. Even the Alpha himself visited.  Those little glimpses were the most precious moments. I don't know why,
