Desirable bosses

ANGELICA’S POV "Hey," I breathed as soon as I opened the door, and they looked at me suspiciously. "Took you long enough," Sir Ericson commented. I looked at Sir Dylan, who was observing me, his intense gaze hard to comprehend. His gaze always keeps me captive. I don't know what kind of magic his blue eyes pull on me, but it's like - "You there?" Sir Dylan stepped ahead, invading my privacy. Did I mind it? Heck no! "What were you doing?" He looked at the inside of my apartment from over my shoulders, his chest so close to my face that his cologne wafted through my nostrils, and I bit my lower lip to keep my heart from racing too much. He looked at me without stepping away, and I looked up at him anxiously. If only he could move an inch lower, and I raise myself - "Are you ready?" He asked. "Ready for?" I squinted my brows. "Are you slacking already?" He mused. "We had a business meeting in Blue Heart Restaurant, remember?" Sir Erickson reminded me, and I looked at them awkwardly. I had forgotten about it, but would I be honest about it? Nope! "I haven't forgotten about it. I thought we were to leave at 7?" I lied and tried to cover up messily. "And it's 6:37 already," Erickson quirked his brows at me, and I smiled. "I will be ready by 7," I smiled before dashing back into my room. I quickly took out my satin-red dress from the hanger, which had a slit on the left thigh. After wearing my dress, I quickly did my hair, parting it on my left side. With silver earrings, a faint blush on my cheeks, and mascara, I looked presentable enough to join a meeting as a secretary. With a congratulatory smile to myself, since I got ready in seven minutes, I walked back to the hall and was about to tell them we were good to go when my eyes widened. They are not doing what I think they are doing, right? "Hey!" I shouted when I saw them standing near my couch with one of the books I had been reading earlier. For f*cks sake! My ears turned hot, and I am sure my face was the definition of real-time embarrassment. "You can't touch someone's stuff like this!" My voice came out louder than I had intended, and I was about to snatch the book from Sir Dylan's hand when he raised the book in the air, making me glare at him. The nerve of this man! I couldn't reach his hand even with the heels I wore, and I gritted my teeth in pure annoyance. With no choice left, I stepped closer to him, trying to reach the book. “Impatient much? Afraid of what I might find in it?” He smirked, and I seriously wanted to wipe that smirk off his lips by putting my - No! Concentrate, Li! As soon as I was about to reach his hand, aware of how my body was rubbing on his, Sir Ericson took the book from Dylan's hand, and I scowled. "Come on -" I was about to move when Dylan placed his hand on my waist, securing me in the same position, making my heart skip a beat. I noticed how close we were standing. My body was almost leaning on him, and - "Mr Volkov’s Obsession, huh?" Sir Ericson smirked before he opened the bookmarked page, and my embarrassment peaked. I saw him reading a few sentences before he cleared his throat and placed the book on the table. "Let's go," he said without turning to us and left the hall. I am sure he was shocked since he didn't expect me to read such dark romance books filled with e*****a. But could they blame me? I was a single girl who was heartbroken. I had to find solace in something. "You are quite an interesting one, aren't you?" Sir Dylan whispered into my ears, his eyes turning darker than usual, and I looked up at him, half embarrassed and half angered. If he hadn’t touched the book, I wouldn’t have gone through this second-hand embarrassment. "You haven't even seen the half of me," I found myself speaking before I could control my sassy mouth. "Yeah? Do enlighten me. I would like to know the entire you," he bent forward. I looked into his deep blue eyes and gulped. My gaze flickered to his lips for a second, and I am sure he must've noticed it too because the next thing I know, he removed his hand from my waist and bent towards my neck. "It would be fun," he whispered, his lips touching my earlobe, and I suppressed the prime urge to moan under him. His cologne made me think about things that should be illegal, like that dream I had where he and Ericson were b*nging the hell—I cleared my throat to clear my thoughts. "Let's go. Ericson doesn't look in a mood where he would appreciate tardiness," Dylan said before he held my hand and pulled me out of the apartment. Like a hopeless heroine in a romantic movie, I looked at our hands and didn't know what to feel about them while my heart started drumming against my chest. I sat before my bosses like the last time, gulping a bit at Sir Ericson's dark expression. I was wrong if I thought I would get used to their presence. "So you are into that kind of thing?" Sir Ericson voiced out after a long time, his gaze plastered on his phone as he put up the partition between the driver and us, and I bit my lips before looking out. "I am asking you a question," Sir Ericson said again, and I was honestly unsure if he really wanted to hear the answer. After contemplating for a few seconds, I looked at him confidently. Why was I getting worried? It was my choice to read whatever I wanted. "Why? Are you surprised that I don't read history books? Did it ruin some kind of image of me in your head?" I quirked my brows, and he scoffed before he placed his phone in the holder and leaned forward, his muscles flexing a bit, immediately catching my attention. What use are these muscles if not wrapped around a woman like me? What would it feel like to have his hand aroundcmy throat and—? I took a deep breath to control my thoughts. At this rate, I would seriously turn into a hopeless case. "On the contrary, il tesoro," he smirked. I could see the amusement in his eyes. "What did you call me? Il what? Are you cursing me in a language I don't know?" I narrowed my eyes at him, and he looked at me blankly before leaning back in his seat. It was hard to tell whether he was smiling, but judging from the amusement dancing in Sir Dylan's eyes, I was sure something was up. "I am sure my brother is just shocked to see such an innocent-looking girl reading a book like that," Sir Dylan commented as if it was some kind of sin, and I didn't like how they were uselessly stretching the matter. "I am sure your brother must've had a great experience with what I am reading. So don't act like you guys are some kind of saints and -" "I bet if he even had his first kiss," Dylan commented before I could complete my sentence, and I looked at Sir Erickson, who looked away. I am sick. I seriously am. There is no way it's normal to feel attracted to a man who hasn't had his first kiss, especially a man I haven't even seen properly. ‘Shut up, wh*re. You are just finding more reasons to justify your lust for the brothers,’ I told myself. I looked at him closely, my eyes raking his body shamelessly before I cleared my throat to look at Sir Dylan, who was already looking at me. "Like what you see?" He asked me, and I looked away. It was honestly unnerving how these brothers read me so easily. It's like I can never catch a break with them. They always catch me doing one embarrassing thing after another. I think texting my friends could distract me. I was about to take out my phone from my clutch when the car suddenly jerked so loudly that I was pushed forward, falling on Sir Dylan and Sir Ericson. "Ooww," I massaged my forehead, noticing how Sir Ericson had leaned towards the middle, and my head hit his chest. "Are you okay?" He looked at me concerned, and I looked into his eyes, his face only an inch or two away from mine. Why were they so beautiful? Why was it so easy to forget my pain when I looked into the eyes of these brothers? "Are you okay? I hit your chest," I asked, and he sighed before nodding. "If you both are okay, can you stop rubbing me?" Sir Dylan asked, and I widened my eyes when I realized where I was almost sitting. “I don’t mind it, though,” Dylan looked at me with sincerity, and I felt his hand on my thighs, increasing the pace of my heartbeat. “Sir-”
