44 I felt Darion’s muscles tense beneath my hands. It sounded like a good plan. I shuddered. I looked up at Darion. He stared straight ahead as he smiled at me. I giggled. It was weird being the only one that could see. He went cross-eyed and poked his tongue out, which made me laugh out loud. He made a move to get up. The disappointment I felt when he let go of me was eclipsed by the thought of getting out of here. I only had to hang a little longer. We stood and I led him over to the rock pool so we could drink. He let the soldiers know we’d be appearing next to the big rock at the entrance. I was nervous. I’d never had someone else teleport me anywhere before. The thought of being that close to him again in a Mind-link caused my heartbeats to quicken and made the decision
