Dom had said something to piss Martha off, Kiko could tell even from a distance. The woman had barely moved, but Kiko knew Dom well enough to see he’d tensed, and he didn’t like how much distance was between him and Martha as she reloaded. She was saying something to him. Even if Kiko could have heard across the distance, Buddy was shouting again, urging the next person to try their luck. If Martha decided to shoot Dom point-blank, there would be nothing anyone could do but hope she wouldn’t kill him.
