Hangover

CJ's POV

Three consecutive loud knocks on the door interrupted my sleep and giving me sleep deprived.

"CHRYS! Wake up! You're gonna be late for your school!!" It was one of my evil bestfriend! But I wondered why she's here banging at my door at this early morning?

I lazily stood up to open my door and I felt like my head was going split in half in too much pain. All I know is, that we drank last night, supposedly a celebration of the end of the holidays, and after that, everything is still so hazy.

"What the hell are you doing here?! It's too early for f**k sake!" I shouted at her face when I opened the door because she won't stop for knocking, I felt a sudden pain inmy head so I went back to bed and let my body fall down. "Ouch! My head!" I uttered in pain.

"It seems that you have hangover, here eat it first then take this med." She said as she put down the tray on the bedside table. I didn't even notice that she was carrying a tray of food, I felt guilty but still pissed off.

I just forced myself si sit and eat. "How come you don't have one?" I asked while munching my food.

"Dont you remember what happen last night?" She asked in disbelief. "I didn't drink too much because I knew y'all need my help to take you home." She added

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked completely puzzled. I don't exactly remember what happened last night because I was too wasted.

"Dude you're so wasted. And so as Yhen! Both of you rock the dance floor." She said while shaking her head.

I frowned as I tried to remember about what we did last night. And the memory of what happened last night started to sink in then I started laughing my ass out.

"Dude that was awesome! How can I forget that epic night!"

Flashback...

I was heading to my room when my phone rang and it's Yhen.

"What's up?"I greeted as I answered.

"Come over here dude! Were here at your bar."

"Hey what are we doing in my bar?" I asked

"We're celebrating the end of the vacation." She excitedly said.

"Ok I'll be there in a minute." And I ended the call. I heard that she's still talking but I already ended the call.

When I arrived at the bar, I went straight to the VIP room and when I opened the door, I was greeted with loud laughter.

"Hey! What did I miss??" Keisha immediately hugged me and kissed my cheek. I did the same to Anna. And bro hug to Zai, Rhea and AJ .. but when I got close to Yhen, she smacked my head.

"b***h! I'm still talking and you hung up on me!" She scowled.

"You're talking nonsense!" I retorts but we still hugged each other.

"You guys haven't changed. " AJ said while shaking her head.

"At least we don't pretend to be a teenagers." Yhen teased. Rhea threw a piece of tube ice at her which she immediately caught and put inside Annabelle's blouse and we broke in loud laughter.

"Oh s**t! it's cold! f**k!" Anna yelled as she removed the ice inside her shirt and we laugh again.

I sat down next to Zai and took the beer bottle from her and chug straight on it. "Hey that's mine moron!" She whined.

I drained the beer before giving it back to her. "Here, I just want to have some!" I hissed. He immediately chug on it only to find out that it was empty. I immediately stood up and back away from him.

"What the hell?" She groaned frustratedly. She picked up a piece of tempura and threw it at me. I hid behind Keisha who was standing while laughing, and the tempura hit her face. We fell in loud harsh of cackle once

Laughter filled the VIP room, when we felt we had enough alcohol in our system, we agreed to go down and go to the dance floor. I took two bottles of wine and went up on stage. I approached the DJ and borrowed the microphone. He didn't want to give it at first but the manager came over and whispered something so he immediately gave it to me and he even apologized. I just nodded and went to the middle of the stage.

"Can I have your attention guys!" The dj turned down his music so I got everyone's attention. I looked at my friends who were just smiling at me proudly ten I cleared my throat.

"Spit it out!" Zai shouted which made everyone laughed.

"f**k you!" I spit back and look back to the audience. "By the way if anyone is not ready to get wet, you're free to exit the dance floor. " I waited for momentarily but no one left, so I spoke again. "Ok! Let's start the real party! Woohoooo!" The DJ turned up the music much louder this time, I threw the microphone at the manager and opened the bottle of wine and splashed it on everyone at the bottom of the stage. Everyone cheered as they continue to dance.

I approached my friends who were in the middle of the dance floor, while I was jumping, I spin the open bottle in the air so that all my friends could get wet too.

After dancing, I decided to take a little rest and sat down on the empty couch. A woman approached me and introduced herself, Claire. Suddenly, Yhen walked up to me, she also introduced herself to the woman but even before she could reach the woman's hand, she vomited. The woman was very mad at her, we just fell into another fit of loud laughter, we didn't even help Yhen while the woman was beating her.

End of flashback...

"Damn it, don't you have a video of them? God, that was so funny." I can't finish what I'm eating because I kept laughing. It was as if my headache suddenly disappeared.

"Enough dude! And yes.. We have a video, we can use it for blackmailing Yhen if she do something stupid." Zai said

"Ok ok! I'm done." I heaved a deep breath to calm myself and wipe the tears on the corner of my eyes. "By the way, thanks for the food."

"I'll wait you outside.. and please be faster, we'll gonna be late!" Zai said as she heading to the door.

"Aye captain!" I even saluted before I run to the bathroom.

After 20 minutes of taking a quick bath, I ran into my walk in closet and got dressed. I just wore a plain white v-neck shirt and a black ripped jeans and I just paired it with white vans shoes and a gray G-shock. I also got a hooded jacket with a batman body design. I also took my bag, cellphone wallet and car keys.

I was about to go down when I heard Zai's loud voice, shouting from the garage.

"Damn it CJ! Were getting late! Come on!"

"Hey chill down! You're being paranoid.. it's too early to shout and bro it's 7:30 am, our subject starts 8:30!"

"Whatever!" She said as she rolled her eyes. "What took you so long?!" she added.

"I'm sorry baby, I enjoyed the shower." I said and wrapped my arms to her waist.

"Eeew dude get off of me!" She pushed me off.

I just laughed at her and I bend over when I saw Prince approaching me and my maid on his heels.

"Hey my boy! Behave okay? Don't make Elsa stress over you." I said to my dog ​​while stroking its fur.

"We'll go ahead." I bid as I hugged her and kissed her forehead. Zai did the same. My personal maid grew closer to my friends as well.

We got in our separated cars and drove to school, it'll take 10 minutes only from home to university so we were still too early for our first class. I arrived to school first and as soon as I got out of the car, I was greeted by the students. They surrounded me immediately and asking for a picture and autograph, I suddenly felt my headache again because of the hang over, I forgot to take the medicine. I just hope that it'll be gone later or my mood will get affected.

I leave my autograph for some student and when I noticed Zai and Yhen's car entering one after the other, I pointed at them. "Hey guys Zairell and Yhen are coming! Look!" They all turned to the two who had just gotten out of the car, when I made sure that the students run towards them, I quickly ran away and now they were the ones who were surrounded by our fans.

Yes.. you read it right. fans.. we, the three famous idiots are Varsity Volleyball players. I am the captain ball and I am an open speaker. Zairell is the libero, while Yhen is the playmaker., she's the setter. We just started playing last year here at LSU but we take home the championship right away. It's because the three of us are really players since grade and high school, we've been going to the same school until now. I'm fed up with their faces to be honest.

Before I could finally get away, I turned to the two and gave them a mocking smile. The colloquialists glare at me while giving their autograph, I laugh triumphantly as I entered the building of my course and headed straight to the elevator.

I headed straight to our room and saw my female friends, their heads buried on their elbow and on top of their desk.

I kissed them on the heads before taking the seat next to them, they raised their heads simultaneously and looked at me. I almost laugh at them because of how big their eyebags, I just luckily prevented myself or else I'll get beaten if I pay attention to that. I just nodded to them and so did they. I just took my earphone and mp3 from my bag and put the earphones on my ears before I sink my face into my elbow.

I just felt two consecutive smack in my head, when I lifted my head to see who did that, I saw Zairell and Yhen glaring at me. They kissed the two girls before seating next to me, Keisha and Annabelle looked up and nod their heads.

"Pft, they're so ugly, those eye bags screaming for help." Yhen said and I know that she's doomed for giving attention to it.

I wasn't even surprised when they suddenly stood up and approached Yhen. Anna tweaks Yhen while Keisha hits her with the bag.

"Ouch, hey stop! I was just kidding! F-f**k stop!"

"Who you calling ugly, huh?! Who?!!" Anna shouted while still holding poor Yhen's hair.

"You son of a b***h! You're the ugly one!” Keisha said while keep hitting Yhen.

"Enough girls. We all have hangover. You better not overdo yourself. "Zai scolded while laughing at the antics of the three.

They returned to their seats and I glanced at Yhen who's sitting next to Zai. she's fixing her curly hair while murmuring and pouting. Tsk! You should joke with a drunk person, but not with a women with eye bags.

All my friends looked groggy so I just decided to call them outside, obviously they cannot concentrate in class.

"Let's go to the rooftop to take a nap, we looked like a f*****g zombies." I didn't wait for them to move as I immediately got up and walk out before the professor arrived, I just noticed them following me.

We settled down to our favourite spot and lie down comfortably. There were some useful stuffs and beds for us in here, this place belongs to my sister and my brother who used to stay in here whenever they are bored in their classes and we just inherited it from them.

I felt like I just close my eyes for one minute and the ring of the bell awakened me, signed that the morning class was over.

"Wake up guys, it's lunch time." I said as I woke them up one by one.

We got down and head straight to the cafeteria. We sat at a table with no one else sit but the five of us. The two girls volunteered to order our food and we wait for them but because of this hangover that seems don't have any plan to go off, we don't have appetite, so we just talked about what happened last night, the only sounds that could hear from us was our loud laughter. We almost didn't touch our food, until the girls noticed someone behind us and they smiled.

"Look guys, there's a new girl and she's so beautiful!" Keisha said while pointing someone behind us.

"Where?" Yhen immediately looked around, she's really quick when it comes to girls! "Oh s**t, Keisha was right."

Zai and I looked at what they were referring to but I only saw a man behind me so I faced my food again and shrugged my shoulder.

I suddenly felt hungry for laughing too much and surprisingly, I finished my food.

"Let's go guys." I said. The girls stood up first and we followed. When I turned around, I glanced at the woman they were saying but I saw the man standing again and blocking the woman, so I decided to walk out of the cafeteria and never look back again.

As we came out of the cafeteria, I told them to hang out in the field and they agreed, we sat on our favorite bench under an old oak tree. The three of us were the only ones sitting while Anna and Keisha were standing in front of us, they said they didn't want to sit down because they might have upset stomach.

"I'm too lazy to attend my other subjects." Yhen said, suddenly the two women in front of us snapped their heads at her.

"Yeah, I'm still drowsy, my head still hurts." I whine, massaging my head.

"Same here." Zai said.

"Hey! It's first day of school and you already want to cut classes? Aren't you guys ashamed of yourself huh?!" Keisha said.

"Yes! You! You! And you!" Anna poke our heads while her other hand in her waist.

Suddenly, Yhen stood up and smacked the girl's head before running away. "I'm not really in the mood, I'm going home!" She shouted as she walked away.

"Hey, come back here, you dumbass!" Keisha shouted but Yhen didn't turn around and continue her way. Zai and I laughed as we watched Yhen walk away.

"Oh and you?! What are you up to?!" Anna turned to us.

"You go first to the room girls. I'll just go to the comfort room." I said as I stood up and kissed them on their heads.

"I think I needed it too." Zai said. I just nodded to her so she kissed the head of the two as well. That's how sweet we are with our two female friends.

"Don't you dare to ditch the class! "Keisha scowled just before we could go far from them. Zai and I didn't look back, we just raised our hands, waving goodbye.

As Zai and I were walking, we passed by the Library and we both looked at it and looked at each other meaningfully. It seems that we are thinking the same, so we quickly ran towards the library and we sat at the end table, but before that, we took two books that we can use to cover our faces. I opened the book and let it stand, I bend over and rest my head on the table, close my eyes and immediately drifted to sleep.

After sometime, I woke up with a numb neck, I give it a soft twist and noticed the nerd student on my side, she flinched when I looked at her and she pointed at the book in front of me.

"Ah-ahm c-can I borrow that book? There is nothing else available in the shelf other than t-that." She said stuttering.

"Huh?" That's all I could said because my mind still seems to be asleep.

"I'm sorry if I disturbed your sleep." The student bowed her head apologetically.

When what she was saying sinks in, I suddenly stood up. "Uh- sure! Here's the book. I'm sorry I was still not in myself earlier."

"Thank you." She said as she took the book from my hand. When she left in front of me, I looked at my watch. it's already 5 p.m, class is over and I need to go home so I could continue my sleep, I glanced at Zairell who's still sleeping. I gave her a light shrugged, trying to wake her up, but she just slapped my hand, so I decided to go home first, I'll just text her later.

As I drove home my stomach growled. I forgot that I didn't even get a snack. Luckily, I saw a bakeshop on my way home, so I pulled my car off the road and parked it in the parking lot and quickly entered the bakeshop.

"Good afternoon what's your order Sir?" Asked the woman at the counter with a soft smile.

"Uh one chocolate cake and a rocky road frappe" I took out my wallet and searched for money. Shoot! I don't have any more bills!" Uhm miss do you accept cards? " I asked.

"Yes sir." That's good! I handed over the card and waited for my order. "Here's your order and your card Sir. Enjoy!" I just smiled at the cashier and looked for a seat.

I stood next to the floor to ceiling glass window. While eating, I thought of calling Zai and telling her I go home first, while I'm talking to her, I suddenly felt that someone is looking at me, I wander my eyes but sees no one looking in my spot, so after I finished my snack, I decided to leave the shop and get in my car as quickly as I can.

When I got home, my actions were too fast. From entering the house to taking a bath and change into most comfortable PJs, then I jump on my bed.

Even before I could fall asleep completely, I stood up to take my signage and hung it outside my door.

"DO NOT DISTURB" it says.

So no one would try to knock and disturb me.
