CJ's POV

After class we all went out together, I already introduced Samantha formally to my friends and they were easily get well together. As we stepped out, I noticed a man leaning in the corridor across our room. Sam stopped walking so we also halted our steps, looking at her in confusion.

"Arc? What are you doing there?" Sam asked in surprise, the guy looked up and when he sees Sam, he smiled widely while walking towards the girl next to me.

As he approached Samantha, I stared at him intently, it was as if I was trying to remember where I have seen this guy. Then the realization hit me. I know him! This was the guy who had s*x with my stupid ex girlfriend.

"Hi Sam.. Do you have plan this afternoon?" My brows automatically raised as I looked at him venomously. "Let me drive you."

"Uh thank you, but I have my own wheels." Samantha refused politely. Arc's smile didn't even fade a bit as he walked closer to Sam.

"Oh, that's fine, let me walk you to your car." He insisted.

I was about to speak when someone held my hand, I looked at it and saw the faces of my friends who's glaring at Arc as well, I can't blame them because they know who he is and what he did to me.

"I got this. Let me handle that asshole." Yhen said while still holding my hand, she squeezed it and smiled at me reassuringly before walking closer to Arc.

"My boy." She sing song as her hand wrapped around Arc's shoulder. "Leave the woman on us, we, the squad can take care of her so... You better back off. Do you still remember her?" Yhen pointed at me.

I was just staring at them when Arc glanced at me and I noticed that the edge of his lip lifted to form an annoying smirk. I gritted my teeth in so much anger. Oh! How am I so eager to punch that face to wiped off that smirk.

"I know her. She's Chrysler, the team captain of volleyball. Why'd you ask?" He said still with that annoying smirk.

"Oh come on Jerk! Don't act innocently as If you didn't know what Im talking about." Yhen said with a serious tone.

"I don't know what your talking about! And get off of me!" He shrugged off Yhen's arm around him.

"Ok that's it!" I heard Zai say, she lifted her two sleeves and crack her knuckles. Anna took her things and Keisha was massaging her back as if they are inside of the boxing ring.

"Hey, what's going on?" Sam intervened and stood in the middle. "CJ, will you stop your friends." She commanded me.

I puffed a sharp breath before I speak. "Stop it guys. We won't get anything out of that jerk, if we beat him, then I'll have to spend my money to the hospital for that idiot." I said and gave Arc a deadly look.

"CJ..." Sam called with warning tone.

"Tsss.." I hissed and turned my heels. "Let's—."

"Samantha!" I was distracted by someone shouting behind us.

When I turned around, Claire squeal and immediately ran towards me then she anchored on my arm. I looked at Sam, I saw one of her eyebrows raised looking at my arm and Claire's, while her own arms crossed against her chest and her weight was on her right foot. When she looked up at my face and met my gaze, she rolled her eyes. The f**k did I do?

"Are you also studying here? Oh my gosh! I think we're really meant to be, it's good that I thought of transferring here.." Chloe said as she tighten her grip on my arm. I looked at my friends as if my eyes were asking for help, but they just smiled meaningfully.

"Claire! Let's go home!" Sam said angrily and pulled her friend away from me.

"Tss what a flirt." Yhen whispered but enough for us all to hear.

"What did you say_oh my God!" Claire shouted when she recognized who spoke. "You! That moron who puke on my shirt!"

"I didn't mean to!" Yhen reasoned and hid behind me.

"Uh, Sam let's go?" Arc chimes in, I didn't know that he's still here.

Before Sam could speak Claire preceded him. "And who are you?"

"Hi.. I'm Arc, Samantha's suitor."

"WHAT?!" We exclaimed in unison and our widened eyes turned to Sam, but even Samantha seemed to be shocked looking at Arc.

When I recovered from the shock, I straightened up and my darkened face turned to my friends. "Let's go." I said coldly and started to walk, but just before I could take a step, someone held my hand.

"CJ..." Sam called me in a soft voice but I just looked at her with a 'what' look. Her mouth opened but she immediately shut it off when it seems no words will coming out of her lips. And little by little, she loosened her grip on me.

I turned my back on her and continued walking and when I passed at Arc just, who were smiling annoyingly, I hit his shoulder and walk passed him.."What the!!" He exclaimed.

"Move dickhead!" Anna snarled at him as they follows me.

"What just had happened?" Claire asked.

As we walked to the parking lot no one spoke to us even one, but by the time we got to the opposite side of my car, Zai decided to speak to break the tension.

"Dude are you giving up now?" She asked.

"Of course not! I won't let Arc have Samantha this time. He already got Arlene, so he better not try to get Sam either." I said grinning devilishly.

"Good!" They cheered and we get in our car, but before I could start the engine of my car I saw Arc with Sam and Claire. I just stared at them while gripping the steering wheel tightly. I noticed that my friends' cars hadn't left yet so I turned to looked at them. I was surprised to see the four of them outside their car again, looking at the three students with grim faces.

I also decided to go down to ask them."hey what's the matter guys? What's with the grim faces?" I laughed as I approached them, but no one even looked at me as they were still looking at Sam.

"You better make a move before he get you again." Yhen said seriously. I wanted to laugh at the way she looked, but when I saw that she was really serious, my smile quickly fades and looked at the woman standing across us.

"What should I do then?" I asked them.

"Court her." They said back in unison.

"I will." That was my only answer to them with a determined face.

When Sam's car left the parking lot, Arc looked at us with a smirk, but before he could turn around Keisha called him out.

"Hey Arc!" He turned to us with questioning eyes, then we simultaneously raised our right hand in the air giving him a middle finger.

"f**k you!" We shouted together and quickly turned away while laughing out loud. The five of us did high five first before we got in our car and sped away from the parking lot of the university.

When I got home I was greeted by my dog in the porch, waving his tail happily.

I knelt down to play with its thick fur in his stomach. "Hi baby Prince! Have you been a good boy to nanny Elsa huh?"

"Chrysler..." I felt that I froze a bit when I heard that voice.

What the hell is she doing here?!

"What do you want?" I asked coldly and continue patting prince head, without looking at her.

"Baby can we talk?" She asked, her voice pleading.

"We have nothing to talk about." I said, still not looking at her.

"At least hear me out baby." This time I looked at her and maybe she could see the anger and pain in my eyes.

"Hear you out? For what? For making me believe again on your f*****g lies?!" I sarcastically said.

"Please CJ. It's not my intention to cheat on you, he forced me to have s*x with him, please believe me!" She said pleading and crying.

"And do you think you will have me believe in you! Even if he forces you, if you really don't want to, you won't let that happen! But what did you do?! You just had s*x inside my condo and in my bed!" I shouted angrily.

She cried even harder when I shouted at her. Maybe she was surprised because the day when I caught her with Arc in the condo, I didn't hit her or even shout at her.

I heave a deep sigh to calm myself before I continue to speak. "I have to go and you know your way out." I didn't wait for her to response as I quickly turned around and went upstairs to my room.

Upon entering my room, I shut the door hardly and leaned behind it and slid down till my butt felt the cold tiled floor.

I have proven to myself that it still hurts. I'm still hurting because of her. I loved her. I gave everything I could to survive our relationship even though I knew everyone who are close to me didn't like her. But I still fought for what I wanted. And that was her, but what did she do? She cheated on me, she made a fool of me!

I pulled my own hair as I bent down when there was a knock on the door that made me jump a bit on my spot. I immediately straightened up and turned around, but before I could turn the door knob I let out a deep sigh, when I opened the door, AJ greeted me.

"Hey what brought you here?" He just smiled wryly, that's when I noticed her eyes were swollen and puffy.

"Can I come in?" She asked in a low voice.

"Of course bro." I opened the door wide so that she could enter, then shee went straight to my mini fridge in the bedroom and got two bottles of beer. I was just following her with my eyes on what she's doing. She opened the beer and handed one to me which I immediately took, then she sat down on the couch and began to chugged on the beer bottle.

"What happen? Care to share?" I asked as I sat next to her.

"I don't even know what happened. Or what's her reason to break up on me." She started and drink again in her bottle. I was just looking at her, telling her that I am listening. "She said that when she woke up this m-morning..." Her voice cracked as she choke back her tears. "—she felt that she doesn't love me anymore." And that moment, my sister burst out into tears.

I couldn't speak right away, I couldn't say anything that could alleviate her feelings because in this kind of situation, all you can do is to listen to them. I just sigh ang lean closer to her to give her a hug and she hugged me back.

I don't know how many hours we stayed hugging each other until I could only hear a faint cry and sniffles coming from her. I tipped back to see her face. "Eeew bro! Don't you think that we looked so gay hugging each other?" I said to lighten up the mood a bit.

"Stupid!" She sneered playfully and gave me a soft punch on my shoulder. She wiped her tear stained with the hem of my shirt. It's always like that, whenever one of us cry, each others clothes used as a handkerchief to wipe off our tears.

"So... What are you going to do now?" I asked. She just shrugged her shoulders and sat straight while still sniffing. I took off my clothes and threw it at him as I stand up to get a new shirt.

"Just give her some space. Maybe she's just confused by how she feels because you guys in a long distance relationship." said as I approached her again.

"I hope so. And bro.. please don't tell it to squad." She said as she stood up.

"Why?"

"I am not ready to open it to others, it's just between you and me.." She replied that with her face still sad.

"Ok. Trust me! I won't talk." And zipped my mouth like there's a zipper in it.

"I have to go, I need to go back to my restaurant, I just came here for the drama." She said with a little smile on her lips.

"Nah.. it's ok. We're brothers for pete's sake. Brother's support each other's right?" She just answered me with a smile and I accompanied her up to the main door. She said that she'll drop by first to her house, it's actually hers and Angel's house but since they separated so it's automatically went to AJ.

We hugged when we were in front of her car. "Thank you again lil'bro." She said as she mess with my hair.

"No problem, If you need anything just give me a ring. And I'll be there." I answer. She just nodded at me and got in her car, but before she could leave, I knocked on the driver's seat window. When she rolled down the window, I stretched out my head and leaned my right hand on the roof of his car. "What?" She asked.

"Listen to this song." I handed my phone to her and she put it to her ear. While she was listening, she frowned and suddenly threw my phone at me, which I immediately caught.

"You're really crazy!" She growled at me while shaking her head, I laughed loudy as I stepped away from her car then she e closed the window and sped away from our driveway.

I just watched her car coming out of the gate while still laughing when she took one of his hands out of the air and gave me a middle finger and my laughter grew louder.

it's because I let her listened to a sad song which telling her to move on and forget about the girl.

When I went back inside, I went straight to the kitchen to eat alone, mom and dad still not yet here. The youngest is still out for I don't know the reason After I ate I went up to my room to take a shower, then I just wore a boxer and a lose shirt, I lay down on my bed and I used arms as a pillows behind my head while I'm staring at the ceiling.

To be honest, it seems like today is a tiring day. A lot of things has happened. The confrontation between Arc and me, then Arlene came here explaining herself, and my sister's drama.

I should start courting Samantha by tomorrow or else Arc will win again if I didn't start any action, but I don't want him to think that I'll just court Samantha to compete with him. I like Samantha, I really do, that's why I want to court her, so yeah. Let's do this!
