18. Feel Into Nathan

1032 Words
Emma POV "Thank you," I said. Nathan really helped me. If he hadn't been here, Robert might have treated me worse. "Are you sure that your previous relationship was okay?" Nathan asked like an investigator. "I don't have any idea." I was still in shock. I had to find out what exactly Robert wanted. I knew nothing about his grandfather's will. "Are you okay, Miss Wilson?" "Hem." I nodded, but my mind was elsewhere at the moment. Robert wouldn't stop bothering me. He will definitely come again, but I need to solve this problem before that happens. I accidentally saw the blood on Nathan's arm. There was enough blood on his arm to make me panic. "Blood!" I quickly pulled Nathan's hand away. "How did this happen?" Nathan shook his head. "Probably when I jumped out of the window," Nathan replied. He then tried to move his shoulder. "Aw." Nathan groaned in pain. "I'll clean your wound first." I felt bad that Nathan had helped me, but I also couldn't understand why he had to jump out of my second-floor bedroom window. I led Nathan to the sofa, then grabbed the medicine box from the kitchen. I also brought a basin of water to wash the wound on Nathan's arm. "Don't be serious. It's just blood, Miss Wilson." "I don't want you to get hurt for helping me. I don't like being indebted," I replied. I quickly placed the medicine box and medical kit on the table, along with a water basin, and looked at Nathan. "Take off your shirt," I said. "Miss Wilson, what do you want? I'm your student." Nathan smiled and teased me. "Stop talking and do what I say!" Nathan quickly took off his shirt. The wound was not only on his arm but also on his shoulder. "Oh, my God. This must hurt like hell," I felt terrible. "I'm not a child, Miss Wilson. Don't overdo it." Nathan tried to deny the pain in his shoulder. I'm sure it must hurt like hell. I didn't want to talk too much. I quickly cleaned the wound with a towel and some water. There was quite a lot of blood. "Next time, stay out of other people's business. You'll never know what risks you'll run if you do that. Robert is someone who is very impulsive..." "So you want me to let you get hurt by your ex-husband?" Nathan cut me off. His eyes stared intently at me, piercing my heart. I'd never been stared at so deeply by a man, let alone Robert. "You're my student, Nathan. I don't want you getting into adult trouble..." "Do you think I'm under age? I'm an adult, Miss Wilson. Can you stop associating everything with age? Is it because you're older than me that you think you're always more right than me?" Nathan is angry, but I get the feeling this is his heart. Is Nathan used to being ignored? I really didn't mean to ignore Nathan, and I didn't mean to offend him either. "I am sorry," I said. I touched Nathan's cheek. "I shouldn't have said that. Adults aren't necessarily right, but we have experience so we want younger people to learn." Nathan turned to me. "Learn what? You can't even defend yourself to your husband. This is the first time I've seen a man so obsessed with inheritance that he has to terrorize a woman." "You don't need to worry about that. Robert misunderstood me. I have no idea what he wants. We divorced a year ago and I didn't take a penny from him. So, if Robert does this again I'll report him to the police." Suddenly, Nathan rubbed my head. He smiled, and I couldn't help but look at him. I think I've lost my mind. What have I done? Why did I feel mesmerized by Nathan's smile? "Don't do that." I quickly dodged. "I am your lecturer. Please respect me." "I've always respected you, Ms. Wilson. You're the one who always thinks badly of me.” "It's because you m*********d in the room. Why did you have to do that? Why did you have to show it to me?" "What?" Nathan chuckled. "I'm doing what any guy my age would do and I'm doing it in my private area. What's wrong with that? I didn't ask you to watch my private activities, Miss Wilson." This debate was not going to end. I quickly adjusted to the situation. After ensuring Nathan's wounds healed, I had him put his shirt back on. "Go home. I don't want anyone seeing you here. I'm begging you, Nathan. I really need my job, don't make me make difficult choices." Nathan actually smiled when he saw me ranting. What was wrong with this boy? Why is it so hard to tell? "You're very pretty when you're angry, Miss Wilson. How can I go home now? How about we spend the night together..." "Go home." I quickly pulled Nathan's hand away. "Don't come to my house again without telling me. I don't want any scandal between us. I opened the door and pushed Nathan out. "I'll leave if you kiss me." "What the f**k are you talking about? Don't seduce me!" "Oh, damn. You're so pretty when you're angry, Miss Wilson." How's this? What do I have to do to get Nathan to leave? I'm so tired. "Please, go back to your home, Nathan." Nathan took my hand, looking at me intensely. He then touched my cheek. What's wrong with me? Why did I let Nathan touch me? I felt the warmth of Nathan's hand on my cheek. Nathan's lips came closer. I hesitated to respond to Nathan's gesture. It's just that I feel there's nothing wrong with doing whatever I want. I closed my eyes, trying to accept what would be done to me. Nathan's lips felt so close to mine. I felt his breath. "See you tomorrow, Miss Wilson." I opened my eyes instantly. Nathan was working on me. He smiled broadly as if he knew what I was thinking. I hurried to close the door, but he pulled me in and kissed my lips before I could. Oh s**t.
