CHAPTER 4

1578 Words
Dominic POV Kevin stopped the car in front of an apartment parking lot. I was struck for a second because I knew that this is one of New York City’s most prestigious apartments. That Austin must’ve made a lot of money every month to owned a space in that building. Shit. My brain started to calculate how much money he would ask from me in return for the necklace. Maybe I should just shoot him instead and take it effortlessly. It’s not my style to waste time and money like this. “Which floor?” I asked Kevin before I got off the car. “Top floor, boss,” Kevin told me. “You stay here and call me if you see anything suspicious, you understand?” I said, then shoving a gun into my suit pocket. “Boss, why are you bringing the gun? We don’t want to create a commotion here. Austin seemed like a nice guy. Maybe we could just talk to him nicely.” Kevin said, looking concerned. What a p***y. If it wasn’t for my dad, he was already long gone. I wonder how he could fit into our clan. “Don’t try to lecture me, Kevin. I’ll do it in my own way.” I replied to him and then got off the car. I took big steps towards the elevator as I wanted to finish this off sooner and flew back to LA. A brunette woman with perky boobs threw a seductive smile at me while I was waiting for the elevator, but I completely ignored her. I hate it the most when women insert a fake thing into their body. I looked away, then bringing my phone close to my ear, pretending that I just got a phone call so that I didn’t have to deal with the plastic woman. After a long and never-ending wait, the elevator finally went opened.   I stepped into the elevator and pressed the top floor button while practicing my speech. I figure that I would try to talk to him first, see if this Austin guy can cooperate or not. If he refuses, then I will take a quick way. Either way, I’m getting MY necklace back today. No matter what. The elevator makes a ping sound before the door spreads open. Austin place is a penthouse, so this entire floor belongs to him. I stepped out of the elevator, and I didn’t see a single soul there. Perfect. Maybe I can just take it without even wasting my time talking to Austin. I silently think. “Hello? Is anybody home?” I asked while taking a glance across the room. I carefully opened the door to which I assume was his bedroom, then twisted the doorknob and peeked inside. There’s only small lighting from the bedside lamp inside. Where’s the drawer? My eyes instantly wandered, and I dragged my feet to step in. I was about to reach the drawer when I caught something moving on the bed from the corner of my eyes. I turned my attention towards the bed, and the blanket moved before I saw someone is sleeping there. I walked closer to check whether it was Austin. But I was wrong. I saw a woman lying on the bed… No…correction… A very…beautiful woman. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a human as captivating as this one. I noticed the small notes on the bedside table. It was from Austin, telling her that he already left because he had an early meeting today. Stating from the endearment and the xoxo remarks at the bottom, this woman must be his lover. A pang of jealousy suddenly hits me hard in the chest. Austin is such a lucky bastard. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, I didn’t realize that I was smiling while staring at her like a creep. My hand went to the side of her cheek, feeling the softness of her skin. This is ridiculous. I never wanted anything so badly before in my entire life. This is not even compared to when I ranted my dad for a new bike when I was seven.   Focus, Dominic! Back to the necklace. I reminded myself. But I still couldn’t take my eyes off her. She shifted a bit, still with her eyes closed, and before I knew it, she pulled me into the bed with her. Her both arms circled my waist, and she murmured close to my ear after letting out a relieved sigh. “You’re early today.” She spoke with a raspy voice. It was so sexy. I was completely forgotten that this wasn’t my place, and she wasn’t mine…yet. Her one hand then went into my jaw and then slowly caressed them. I was supposed to say something at this point. Telling her that I’m not Austin. But, God. I never want this to end. I want her hands on me, touching every inch of my body. Her every touch sparks the nerve inside of me. Her lips curved a satisfied smile. “Hmmm…You haven’t shaved… just the way I like it,” she said before she gave my jaw slow erotic kisses. At this point, I couldn’t hold it any longer. I turned us around so that her body was under me as I pressed my lips against hers. I claimed her lips like she only belonged to me. Our breath mixed perfectly as my tongue seeking entrance into her mouth. Devouring her to the last piece. Our kisses were full of raw, burning passion. She let out throaty moans as I licked and gently bite her lips. I never kissed anyone like this before. Her lips tasted so sweet, like my favorite strawberry-flavored candy. God knows how much I’ve adored those treats since I was a kid. But now I know that it would soon be replaced by her lips. She kissed me back fervently. Her hands were now all over me, telling me that she wanted me just as much. She first removed my suit, then followed by my tie, to which she then used to pull my neck down until my lips back into her. I was so hot and aroused right now. My body was in desperate need of release. I ran my hand on her hips, feeling her every curve under her silky thin nightgown. She had the most amazing curve that could make a man goes wild. My lips went down to the crook of her neck, sucking the sensitive spot after I removed the spaghetti strap from her right shoulder. “Mmmm… Austin. That felt nice.” She moaned loudly. I instantly pulled away from her. She finally opened her eyes and stared at me for a good few seconds before reality hits her hard. I got off the bed with a wrinkled shirt and a loose tie. “You’re not Austin!?..” she screams at me and brings the blanket up to her chest to covered her body. “I never said I was him,” I replied to her ignorantly, as if it was a normal thing for people to break into other people’s houses. I put back my suit and fixed my tie. “W-who are you? And what are you doing in my bedroom? I need you to leave now before I call the police.” She threatened me but stammering a bit. I smirked at her before I stepped forward and grabbed her chin. “Your boyfriend had something that belongs to me, and I was here to get them back,” I told her. Her eyes went wide after she saw the gun inside my suit pocket. “W-what was that? Are you going to kill me?” she asked. I let out a small chuckle at her words. “Well, maybe not today….” I paused for a while. I usually like it when someone fears me, but strangely that’s not what I want from her. There’s no way on earth I killed her. She frowned at me. “What do you mean by ‘not today’?.. Just tell me, what do you want? Maybe I just can give it to you..” She was clearly afraid of me. I moved closer to her ear, and I heard her drew a sharp breath as I kissed the side of her jaw. “How if I say that I want… you?” I saw her swallowing a lump on her throat. “Will you surrender and turn yourself to me?” I ran the tip of my nose on the side of her neck, inhaling while remembering her scent. “We both know that’s not what I meant..” she cleared her throat before she continued. She pushed me away. “Earlier, you said that Austin had something that belonged to you… What is it?” she asked me again in a demanding tone. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly she could turn into a fierce woman. I like this side of her more. I got up from the bed and turned around. “I’ll tell you next time… Take care and see you around,” I said before I left the place, leaving her dumbfounded. I stepped into the elevator with a content sigh because I suddenly found another reason to come back to this place. I won’t tell her now. I still want to play.
