It had taken almost five hours to get here Callum got the suitcases out of the boot while I woke Arron and Kieron I pressed the button that released their belts and they groaned loudly. ‘We’re here.’
They groaned slowly getting out the car one after the other. I closed the car door thumbing in my bag to find the keys to the cottage it was amicable In size and beautiful with elegance, it had two floors and five bedrooms. Callum had his contacts and it was all hush hush.
No one knew where this cottage was, but us and his associates who had found it for me. He had paid the deposit for me and I promised I would pay him back. He said that he’d made a deal with his associate that once the baby was one I’d have a full time nanny for her and the two boys. They were set to begin their new school after the holidays. He said all I’d got to do was be his P.A. And he’d finance the house until then and he’d take a minus p*****t out of my pay check at the end of the month. So I agreed all I had got to do now is get off these damn pills Joker had made me take after having postnatal depression after I had Hunter and he’d made sure I stayed in them so I didn’t relapse when I found out I was pregnant with the twins.
Now I’d found a new lease on life and it lay out here with my two remaining children one almost fourteen and the other almost eleven and one on the way Isabella yes I know the s*x he made damn sure this time. I am almost five months gone and it had just made things more difficult for him to leave after he had found out I was expecting again.
We’d only found out a few weeks ago he made damn sure he was there. I’d been getting craps in my stomach the ones he knew to well he’d seen them with every pregnancy after Hunter and demanded we found out. Me and my stupidity, allowing him to have s*x with me while we were both drunk something that was very rare but when it did happen I would usually end up pregnant been as the pill had no effect on me what so ever.
I’d throw up every morning I was drunk and it had been my mistake to take the pill before I threw up again. He’d be still drunk the morning after his stability to handle his drink was much worse than mine after I freshened up and brushed my teeth to get rid of the taste of puke and gallons of water to disguise it. He kissed me and pulled himself out of bed dressing. ‘I’ll do us breakfast so don’t be too long.’
I smiled warily as he left the room. I really didn’t want to spend anymore time with him, no more than I had to and I definitely didn’t want to eat what he was going to cook.
‘Sis are you okay?’
‘Yeah I sighed. Walking up to the front door opening it. ‘Pick your rooms boys.’
They ran into the cottage to chose their bedrooms though the rooms were equal in size they enjoyed that would no longer have to share a room. One would be the nursery once Isabella had turned one she would be sleeping in there, but she’d be with me until then. Me and Callum walked in admiring the large fully furnished living area. ‘I hope it’s to your taste.’
‘It’s perfect but you really didn’t have to.’
‘I didn’t. The bedrooms are fully furnished my associates approved all of the planning it took longer than we expected bit I’m happy that it is your taste.’
I smiled.
‘You have a kitchen dinner a En -suite in the master bedroom and two bathrooms.’
‘Wow how you cram it all into this small space.’ I asked.
‘We expanded knowing how the boys argue over the bathroom and if anyone was to stay there’ll be no queueing.’
‘Who’s going to stay?’
‘So you’re not inventing me. ‘He said playfully smiling.
‘Of course. I’m really gratefully to you. You’ll have to thank your associates too.’
‘I will.’
‘So, you’ll stay tonight?’
‘Are you inviting me?’ He goaded playfully laughing.’
‘It’s along drive back and I’d like to cook for you to thank you and have some company.’
‘Sure I have the weekend off so I’ll drive back Sunday night and spend the weekend with you and make sure that you settle in.’
She hugged him. ‘Thanks Cal for everything,’
‘My pleasure.’
I dropped my arms from around him as Arron and Kieron ran down the stairs. ‘So have you decided what rooms you are having?’
‘We have.’
