Joker closed the door behind him it was almost six pm and he’d told the long drive back home from work expecting to smell supper. She usually cooked an hour before he arrived home yet he couldn’t smell her cooking it usually armoured around the house and it smelt do damn good and tasted better, but not tonight there was no armour in the air, or around him where was she if she went out It wouldn’t be for long she’d take the Kieran to school Arron had to take the bus as he was in high school Joker had tried to juggle his hours so that he could take at least one of them to school it had worked for the first few years but they’d changed his working hours something that he was not happy with working a twelve hour shifts did not please him at all but his contract had changed if he didn’t agree then he’d be out of a job. So he signed it.
After shopping she’d usually go home and clean the house looked clean she’d done the shopping yesterday so they were fully stocked he usually took her on the weekend to if they needed anything. ‘Lex.’ He shouted but nothing.
The house was too quiet where were the boys? They were usually running around cruising at one another or shouting at the tv whilst they were in the PlayStation fighting each other in battle either street fighter or wwe. Yet nothing it was too quiet where were they Arron was too old to go to the park and he never went out with his friends until it was at least seven pm.
He shouted through the house looking around the empty house s**t she’d gone and taken them with her. He grabbed his car keys slamming the door behind him. He’d find Amilia she’d know where she was.
He pulled up outside the house where she live the one Lexi had once shared with her. After Joker had taken Lexi away she rarely came back here she’d moved in with Johnson shortly after Lexi had moved in with him.
She walked up to the house where her parents lived he pulled himself out of the car shutting the door. ‘Amilia.’
‘Joker.’ She said coldly they hadn’t spoke since he’d got. Lexi to move in with him but he didn’t care nor give a damn she was Johnson's problem not his.
‘Have you seen Lex?’
‘No.’ She looked at him. Why have you lost her.’
‘ I shed not home and she’s not answering her phone.’
‘So she finally grew a pair and left you.’
Excuse me!’
‘Really Joker you really didn’t see this coming?’
He looked at her Phased.
‘Really Open your f*****g eyes. She left you.’
‘No she wouldn’t I’ve gave her everything.’
‘Wake up and smell the coffee you get what yo deserve.’
‘Do you known where She is?’
No even if i did I Would never tell you.’ She looked at him. ‘And you want to know why?’
‘Please enlighten me.’
‘YOU’RE PATHETIC YOU DESTROYED HER WITH YOUR PITY-NESS. YOU SUFFOCATED HER, YOU NEVER LOVED HER YOU JUST STUCK AROUND BECAUSE OF HUNTER, THEN YOU HAD TO f**k HER AGAIN AND AGAIN SHE’S WORTH A WHOLE MORE THAN YOU THINK SHE IS. I HOPED HUNTER’S FATHER WAS ANYONE BUT YOU! YOU'RE A WHORE.’
‘And Kile wasn’t?’
ANYONE WAS BETTER THSN YOU! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY TO HIM ANY WAY? HE WAS READY TO COMIT TO HER AND TAKE YOUR SON ON WHAT THE HELL DID YOU AHVE ON HIM ANYWAY?’
‘That’s my business not yours.’
‘YOU DON’T DESERVE TO HER AND YOU CERTAINLY DON’T DESERVE TO BE A FATHER.’
‘So you’re not going to help me?’
‘No I’m not this is your mess you sort it out. The future away she is from you is better.’
He opened the car door sliding in slamming it shut the tyres screeching as he pulled away.
