Liam's POV:
Is she for real? Who she thinks she is? Her own father didn't want her in the house. At first, I used to pity her but now I know what was the real problem.
She is the only problem.
She brainwashes my baby against me and then tries to defiant me as if she owns this home and me. Even I have made it sure to her that she is nothing but a Nanny.
But right now, I don't even want to see her around my baby. She has to get out of this home. She doesn't deserve anything. She deserves nothing. I gave her a chance for my son Oliver but she proved she is the same as her sister. Selfish and cunning.
"Adriana!" I shouted, running behind her. She shut the door, escaping from me but it won't stop me from throwing her outside. I can't stand her wandering around my home. Why I even let her come inside!
"Adr-..."
I was interrupted by my cellphone ringing. I groaned slipping my hand in my pocket to pull my phone out. My expression changed when I saw the caller ID.
Mr. Roman Black was calling...
I swiped to green immediately because we are soon going to sign a big deal that will take the Hunter Cooperation to the new heights of success. This will bring us back into the market. We have to gain our same previous position where everyone wanted to work with us. Today, nobody is confident enough to work with us.
We started with the casual greeting and then talked about the deal. He seemed less confident about finalizing the deal with me. From his reasons and concerns, I came to know that he thinks I'm broken, I'm disturbed and no longer taking an interest in the business.
How can he think like that? I know I was a little distracted for a few months but I am back to my normal self now. I'm working hard to fill the gap. At least, he should look at last month's progress.
After talking for a few moments, I disconnected the call. I made him notice our progress and convince to some point but still, he had some insecurities. I think I should improve my lifestyle now. I have been so isolated and distant. I have to admit it.
I should throw a party and invite all my investors and employees. I need to show off that I have escaped my past and looking forward to a successful future with the same zeal as before.
I just can't let my empire fall down for someone who doesn't even deserve a moment of hatred. Serena is now no more in my life. She chose what she thought was best for her and I didn't fit anywhere in her perfect world.
Neither Oliver, not my Love.
It's fine. I'm okay. It happens with millions of peoples every day but they still survive. They still keep going in their life then why I am stuck with her memories. Hasn't she given me enough reason to forget her? To erase her from my senses?
But what about this heart which is not mine. Which makes such demands that some times infuriate me too.
But I have to stop hearing this heart. This organ is senseless and makes me lose my senses too. I can't lose everything I have been working for just because of a cheater; a b***h.
Yeah, there is nothing worse than a cheater.

Adrianna's POV:
Oh, s**t!
He sounds so dangerous. I can feel the hairs on my nape standing up. This cold is nothing doing good to me either.
"Adr-.."
His voice suddenly vanished. There was a pin drop silent now. The gushing air was hitting the glass window and the snow was whitening nature. I stilled. My body became alert. I was feeling as if the door would now burst open and he will enter having a furious look on his face.
I waited. I didn't breathe, my mouth was slightly open, eyes stuck on the door but nothing happened. I huffed, breathing the air again. He didn't come. I was safe. Or this is what I assumed.
I leaned back on the headboard of the bed and closed my eyes, caressing Oliver's hair. He was sleeping peacefully. His silky soft brown hair was hanging down his forehead. I pushed them back and kissed his forehead.
After a moment of silence, the knocking sound disturbed the pace of calmness. From the defined sound of the knock, I concluded that it can't be Liam. He is too eager to knock and wait for someone to open.
I placed Oliver on the bed and stood up, walking towards the door. I opened and closed at once when I saw the- the-
The wolf.
"Adriana, open the door." He said in a calm voice and it was a bit surprising for me.
Why he acts so calm all of sudden? Is he trying to trick me?
"What do you want?" I asked him, keeping the door closed.
"Open.the.door." He accentuated but still trying to keep his sound soft and alluring.
"No, first tell me what do you want?" I repeated the same question, copying his accent.
"Adriana." He grunted.
"I'm not going anywhere, Liam," I said and my voice cracked when I felt an urge to weep. I don't want him I treat me like a queen but he can at least let me stay here so I can take care of my Oliver. I don't want to leave him.
"Fine but open the door. We need to talk." His voice was so plain and soft that I couldn't help but open the door for him.
I opened the door widely. He sighed and then pushed his hands in his pockets, lengthening his height. His eyes looking here and there. He raked his fingers through his hair and then looked at me.
He was looking confused? Or Hesitated?
"Get ready for the party." He said, hastily.
"Party?" I was perplexed.
"Hmm. Yeah, I'm throwing a party and all my investors and employees are going to come and I want you to dress properly and act like a graceful host." He said, instructing me.
His voice wasn't harsh. He sounded so-
So Innocent. Like that of a kid. He sounded helpless. He needed something. He wants help. He was lost in the deepest ocean of some unforgettable thoughts.
"Ok," I said and he just nodded, turned, and left.
I stood there in bewilderment. What happened to him at once? He was going to throw me out earlier and now he is throwing a party? A party? Like where the idea came flying from and hit his head so hard that he came running to me like this.
He acts so weirdly. So lost, so unusual, so crazy?
Has he lost his senses? Maybe.
But what I would wear now? I don't have any fancy, exquisite dress because my dear dad sent me with what I owned already and that included a few PJs and some plain dresses because I never felt any need to buy something fancy.
Now, what to do? I don't have money and I don't want to ask Liam to buy me something because I'm already puzzled by the less reliable mood. If he is calm then let him be for some time.
He is good in that way.
Maybe I should ask Nancy for help. Maybe she can give me some good piece of advice on choosing something presentable from my plain dresses.
Opening the door and taking long strides, I walked to find Nancy. I found her in the kitchen, again. What she does in the kitchen always.
"Ma'am, you here." She asked.
"Ahmm, Nancy. I need your help." I told, hesitating a bit. It was my first time talking with her. She seems so loving and gentle.
"Yeah, sure, ma'am. What do you want?" She asked, smiling warmly.
"You have been here for long and you know about the parties arranged in this home and about the guests and their attire. Can you help me to choose a dress for tonight's party? Actually, I have all plain and simple dresses." I said it all in one sigh and when I stopped, I was breathing heavily.
Nancy waited for a moment until I gained my normal breathing back. She then smiled and came near to me.
"Don't worry about the dresses, ma'am. There is a room full of fancy dresses and every accessory you need to look elegant for the party." She said and I felt a burden shedding off me.
I felt relaxed now.
"But there's a problem, ma'am." She murmured, rubbing her hands. Her face showed off the worry and hesitation.
"That is?"
"Those are ma'am Serena's dresses and I don't think Sir would be happy to see you adorning her accessories." She said out her fear.
And scaring me too.
So what if those are her dresses. I will just wear them for a few hours and I know Serena. She never wears a dress more than three times. That's how she is!
"It's ok, Nancy. Liam won't notice it." I said.
She gave me a sad smile. Her smile was telling me that she didn't agree with my recent statement.
"Let me show you the room, ma'am." She asked and I nodded, following her.
Walking through two hallways and then turning towards right, we were there. Nancy opened the door and we both got in. The room was merged in darkness and as Nancy switched on the lights, the glitters of the luxurious dresses and jewelry, made me blind almost.
I couldn't help but awe at the sight. It looked like a showroom of some expensive boutique. There were dresses in every color. High heels were sitting behind glass boxes. Expensive bags, studs, necklaces, rings and much more were present there.
"Ma'am?" Nancy snapped me awed state.
My mouth felt dry and that's when I realized that my mouth was hung open.
I took a few deep breathes and then choose some dresses to try and matching heels. I heard Oliver's crying voice and ran towards the room, carrying the pile of dresses in my hands and a few pairs of heels.
I entered the room and threw the dresses & heels on the sofa and carried my baby. He started rubbing his eyes and pushed his lower lip out.
"Aww! My baby. Mama is so sorry." I cooed, hugging him near to my chest. He stopped crying and started playing with my hair.
I made him sit on the bed and showed him the dresses.
"Which one is good, oley?" I asked him, placing both dresses in front of him.
He started biting both dresses and then I couldn't help but giggle at him.
"My baby is hungry?" I asked him and he smiled, nodding his head.
"My baby." I kissed his cheeks and asked Nancy to bring something for Oliver to eat. She helped me in making him eat while I was trying the dresses on me.
The red color dresses looked perfect. It was a full-length gown with a long slit on either side of the leg. The sleeves were full but the neck was a bit low for my comfort but I chose the dress for the party anyway. The black belt around its waist was what made it more elegant.
Oliver was clapping while looking me in that dress. I then wore black heels and catwalked for Nancy & Oliver. They both were smiling and I felt so good after so many days.
Nancy was done with feeding Oliver. She then took him out in the lounge to play for some time.
I was standing in the mirror to look myself in the red dress that I have just chosen to inspect my curves. I heard a knock. I thought it would be Nancy so I said yes.
I startled to see Liam. He was normal until his eyes fell on my dress. His aura changed. His eyes turned a different shade. His fists clenched and his muffled growl shook my entire being.
"Wh- why?" He asked in a whisper.
I trembled and no word came out of my mouth.
"Why?!" He roared, making me go weak on my knees.
