Caleb's father, Alpha Troy, came up on the stage and addressed everyone. "Pack members! Thank you all for coming tonight." He began as he looked around. "But before I start, I feel lonely being alone here on this stage, so, will my Luna please join me up on the stage?" Alpha Troy said, smiling while looking at his mate.
Gracefully, Luna Cathy walked towards the stage to be beside her mate, the alpha of the Moonbridge pack. Alpha Troy holds out his hand to her, and Luna Cathy took them. A beautiful smile was on her face as her mate pulled her into his chest. His hand was on her waist as he gave her a quick peck on her lips.
"Ewww, father stop lavishing mother in front of the pack please," a little voice behind the Luna spoke.
Another angel from the other side also appeared, "what is lavishing, brother?" this little angel asked.
The Alpha took a step back when the two pups interrupted his moment with their mother.
Luna blushed even at her age, "stop embarrassing your father in front of the packs, kids" she told the pups.
It was Dawnson who spoke again, "but mom, dad was the one doing something embarrassing in front of the pack," and he stood up straight.
"Okay, that's enough" Alpha Troy picked up his little girl and held the hand of his youngest son. His mate stepped beside him, with Dawnson in front of her.
"Alright, now." He started again. "This celebration, this gathering is to welcome the return of my firstborn. He had completed his training together with his beta. And is now ready to be the Alpha of Moonbridge pack." He said proudly. He looked at his mate who had a beaming smile on her face. Proud of her firstborn. "And tonight, I am proud to give to you all, your new Alpha,"
His head turned to his son and nodded. It was a signal that he should come up onto the stage.
Caleb walked towards the platform when, suddenly, Xavier began to stir in his head.
"What's wrong Xavier?" he asked his wolf. It's unusual for his wolf to stir suddenly without any reason.
His wolf keeps stirring in a circle inside his head, "I don't know man, I suddenly felt excited all of a sudden" he said, pacing back and forth.
Not understanding what was happening, he continued to walk upstage and stopped beside his family. "Relax Xavier, our girl was still not here for you to get excited."
"I don't know man, I feel like something will happen." Xavier couldn't seem to calm down.
"Well, keep it down a little will you?!" And he put up a wall between them.
Alpha Troy put his daughter down and walked to his son. As soon as he was in front of Caleb, his beta, Paul came up to them with a gold dagger on a tray.
The alpha took the dagger and walked near the edge of the stage and faced the whole pack, "Moonbridge pack! Tonight, we will have our new alpha!" he shouted as he held the dagger up.
Caleb got up near his father and the voice of the whole pack cheering echoed throughout the whole building.
Alpha Troy faced his son again, "Caleb, do you swear to protect this pack with your life? Do you swear to uphold all the pack's laws?" He asked as he slit his left hand with the dagger. He then gives the dagger to his son.
"I, Caleb Leeroy Moonbridge," he cut his left hand, "swear that I will protect this pack from any danger and I will uphold all the pack's laws", he held out his left hand to his father.
Alpha Troy took his son's left hand with his, "Then, I, Alpha Troy Matthew Moonbridge, give my title as alpha of the Moonbridge pack to you, my firstborn child". He then closed his eyes.
Everyone went silent for a moment as the transfer of the alpha power took place. Caleb felt the power surge inside of him and the connection of all the pack's members in his head became stronger.
When he opened his eyes, that's when it hit him. A strawberry mixed with cinnamon scent hits his nose. A very familiar smell.
Xavier breaks the wall. He vigorously jumped inside Caleb's head. "Something is in the air, find out what it is." He urged him.
A tap on his shoulder snapped Caleb back to his senses and then he turned to his father. A smile appeared on his face.
"You may address your pack, Alpha Caleb," he said and stepped back to his mate and pups.
Caleb looked at everyone on the ground as if searching for something or someone. And that's when he saw it.
A boy hugging a girl who had just got inside the building. He couldn't believe who he saw at that moment. And he didn't expect what he saw next.
The boy gave the girl a kiss on her cheeks, and it looked as if it was almost near her lips.
A sudden rage boiled inside Caleb and Xavier finally broke free of his wall. He roared loudly enough to have almost the entire pack kneel down on their knees and show their necks as a sign of submission.
Almost, because his roars do not affect the Previous Alpha and his Luna. However, his siblings trembled in fear behind their parents.
But one person on the ground still remains standing. After a few seconds, she was dragged down by her friends.
"MATE! That is mate!" Xavier shouted in his head. "Go to mate now!" He said.
"No!" Caleb said back to him.
"Why?! She's our mate, our Luna!" He keeps saying.
"I don't want her as a mate! And we already have our Luna. A chosen Luna!" Caleb shouted at him again, then he put a barrier between them again.

Quincy and the others are near the building when they hear a loud cheer inside. Before they could even open the door, they all felt the new connection being established with the new alpha.
After the connection was finished, they quickly went inside. And as soon as I stepped inside, I felt a stir in my stomach, an unexplainable feeling.
"Did you feel that?" Quincy asked Willow, her wolf.
"Yes," she answered back, "I suddenly feel excited but at the same time hurt." She was also confused, "what do you think that is?"
"I don't know Will," Quincy said seriously.
They've found their friend. They walked towards them and greeted each other.
"Hi Icy!," it was Wayne. "What took you so long?" he asked as he kissed her cheeks. His kiss almost touched her lips.
But before Quincy could answer him and snap at his flirty attitude towards her, loud roars silenced the whole pack.
Everyone trembles in fear. They all knelt down and bared their necks in submission to their alpha.
But unlike everyone else, Quincy felt no fear or the need to submit to the new alpha. And she would have to continue standing still if not for Alicia, who grabbed her T-shirt and pulled her down.
"Are you trying to kill yourself?" she hissed at me.
"What?!" Quincy asked. "Why? What happened?" She looked at them confusedly.
"Alpha Troy just handed the title to Caleb", Alicia explained, "I mean, Alpha Caleb. And you, standing still in front of him, show you're disrespecting him, you will get yourself killed!"
Quincy's eyes grew big at her friend, and she glanced once again at the person on the stage.
