“Really?” Elijah asks with a massive smile on his face.
“Yes,” I nod. “I promised someone I would try, and I think it’s about time I lived up to that promise," I say, referring to the promise I made to the Moon Goddess.
Elijah smiles at me and places a gentle kiss on my forehead before turning away from me. He looks at something on his bedside table before sighing in annoyance.
"What is it?" I ask him.
"We have to get going," he answers.
"Going where?"
"To the palace," he says with a massive grin on his face and pulls me into a tight embrace.
