Ch9: In an hour

Sapphire was sitting in his office, within the office you can see racks of books all over the area, it glimpses more like a library. He is sitting on his mahogany seat, the documents scattered on the table in front of him, the office is huge with two black sofa sets on the right side with a table in front, there is a vase placed on the table. The other wall has a huge LED tv on it, on the left side in front of the door there was just his round table with two more chairs. The floor is made of dark wood, the walls covered in off-white paint from upside, but in the middle was fine woodwork covering half the wall. The roof is also made of dark wood with dim lights, a chandelier in the front. The curtains on the windows are open at this time because there was no sunlight outside, you can see through the glass windows the peaceful night. A bundle of paper sheets set on the right corner of the table. Sapphire was studying a paper carefully all his attention was on the document when someone knocked on his office door,

"Come in," he said from inside. The council wants a meeting with all four Kings of the Empires in a few days, they want to settle the matter of the war, the council listens to the news from some of their meddlers, Sapphire doesn't want to create any scene in there because he knows King Marathon will do some evil there... So many things are roaming in his head at the moment, he is not in a mood tonight. The girl came near him, hugging him from the backside, he shrugged off the girl's hand from his shoulders, he grabbed her wrist tightly an annoyance in his grip.

"Maya, I am not in a mood today, just tell me why are you here?" Sapphire dialed Morgans number, he picked up after two rings,

"Hey, brother where are you? I am waiting for you to arrive here, I hope you are fine?"

He asked Morgan, he listened to Morgan heavy panting from the other side, Morgan smoothing his breath talk from the other side,

"Sorry, brother. We are just our way, we will be there in half an hour, " Sapphire chuckled, "I didn't see you are reaching here soon little brother, just take your time. I can wait!!!"

Sapphire listened to his brother chuckle from the otherwise, he knows Morgan was doing something naughty. Sapphire cut off the call thinking to let him enjoy his time, the pain in his heart feel a little more when he listened to his brother, he is hurting from inside.
