CH 4 # Valentine's

After Diwali vacation, college again started. Advay and Eva became so close, but they both have a dream to achieve, so they are the oddest couple of the college, when they meet they discuss on different type of exam topics and books, they have read. They take full care that nobody learn about their relationship. Advay is not afraid of that but doesn't want that someone gossips about Eva.

Eva went to Goa for celebrating Christmas, but didn't come back yet. He was waiting for her. Her phone was switched off from last few days. He distracted from his study and life and worried about Eva.

He asked many times her friend, Diya, But no clue. He passed his most of time in library. One day Diya came to meet him in the library and asked directly, "Tell me your mobile number."

"What?"

"Your number." She repeated.

"Why?"

"Number..."

"90******** " He said.

"Hmmm, you are both in relationship, right?" Diya asked.

"How you know?" He aksed and narrowed his eyes.

"Eva always keeps her phone on silent mode. But I saw many time on her phone's screen, call from " ❤ " (a red heart symbol ).

I couldn't understand first, whose number is saved by heart. I asked her many times but she didn't tell me. One day She gave me a phone to talk with her granny, I wrote down this number. When you asked me about Eva, I doubted on you. So I'm confirming." Diya explained him.

"Okay, you may leave." Advay said.

"Don't you want to know, where is she?" Diya asked.

"Do you know?" Advay asked with hope.

"Hmmm."

"Where is she? Why her phone is off?" Advay asked in frustration.

"Her father passed away." She said in sad tone and Advay tucked hearing her.

"Why she didn't tell me about this?" Advay asked.

"She was about to coming after Christmas, but suddenly news arrived that her father passed away. So she had to go Mysore, Karnataka. Her father's last wish was, "Whenever he dies, they bury him at his home in mysore." So maybe she didn't have a time to inform you." Diya explained him.

"How he passed away? Was he ill or suffering from anything?" Advay asked.

"No Idea. I never meet him. Even Eva not used to meet her father, he was living in Mumbai but she rarely visits there." Diya said.

"But why?" Advay worriedly asked.

"I don't know anything. Her granny warned me, not to tell anyone about this. Eva didn't tell me anything. Her granny told me about this, when I called Granny." Diya said.

"I thought, you are worrying for her, so I decided to tell you. Generally Eva doesn't hide anything from her granny. But I think, her granny isn't aware of your and Eva's relationship." Diya added.

"Maybe ." Advay said and left the library.

Advay thought himself, "It's strange, she never told me about his father or her family. Why?"

After few days, he received a call from Eva, he is angry with her but hides his anger. He received, " Hello."

"Hello."

"Sorry, I didn't contact you from many days. I hope, you are not angry with me." Eva apologised nervously.

"No problem, but at least you should inform me. I missed you badly." Advay saidq.

"Sorry."

"No need for sorry, but I need a promise that you will not do again like that. You will always inform me before going anywhere." Advay asked for promise.

"Promise, I will never go without informing you." Eva promised him.

"When you will be back?" Advay asked with hope. He missed her, his days are not passing without her.

"Tomorrow."

"I will wait."

"Okay, take care. miss you."

"Miss you so much baby."

Eva hung up the call.

"Baby, come fast. It's Dinner time."  Eva heard a roar like voice from behind.

"Coming." She replied.

*********** Next Day....

Advay was waiting for her at her apartment. He asked Diya about her, Diya told that she will first arrive at home then she will go for a college by her car. But she didn't come yet. He was on his bike and playing with his phone, but his eyes are looking for her. A sedan luxurious car is arrived and stopped there. He saw, Eva is stepping out of car.

He note down the car number in his mind. A question aroused in his mind, "Who is here to drop her?" But he couldn't see anyone because of black glass of car window.

Eva also looks at Advay but behaves like she doesn't know him.

"Chhoti, take care. And think about staying with us at home." A man said to Eva.

"Ok......ay, Anna.. (Bro) I will think. I will be late for college. Bye." Eva said and waved her hand to him.

Eva gave gesture through eyes to go to Advay, and murmured, "Please Go."

She ran to her apartment. Advay understood her face's expression. He left the place but the man, with whom Eva came back, has doubt on Advay.

The man called, "Jagat, Find out, our chhoti has any boyfriend or male friend in college? and note down a bike number, and find out, who is the owner of the bike?" He wore his black goggles with a style.

Advay didn't see his face but suspected about him. He reached at college and waited for Eva.

Eva arrived and they reached at library. Advay became impatient. When she entered, they hide between two racks, he pulled her in his chest.

"Advay."

"Eva, who was that man?" He asked like possessive hunk.

"Hhuuuhhhh, are you jealous??"

"Not at all. But tell me, who was he?"

"My Anna. (My Elder bro)."

"You didn't tell me ever."

"You didn't ask me."

He took her in his hug, he hugged her like he is claiming her as she is belongs to him.

"Are you afraid of your Anna?" Advay broke hug after few minutes and asked.

"Little bit." She looked down.

"It's okay, we have a time to convince him." Advay consoled her.

"Hmmmm. "

Eva didn't say anything about his father, so Advay didn't ask about her father.

The man received a call, " Hmm."

"Sir, I find out what you want to know." Jagat replied.

"Speak up." He said.

"I'm not sure that he is her boyfriend or not. But chhoti madam met that boy in cafe frequently. His name is Advay Shivaji Ranawat, studying in same college with her. He is the son of commissioner, Shivaji Ranawat. I will inform you more about him later."

"No need for that, she has choose a perfect partener for her. Don't follow them. "

"Okay sir."

# One year later....

This is Advay's final year in graduation and Eva is in the second year. Advay promised her that next year he will remember and celebrate valentine's with her. Last year he forgot to wish her, because of lack of knowledge about valentine's week. He loves her but being romantic isn't in his diary.

Valentine's week has been started. Unfortunately he forget about valentine's week. On the very first day, A rose day, Eva reached early in the college and waiting for him. Advay forgot about rose day and he came as usual time.

He wants to meet Eva, so he directly go to Library, they meet there before lectures started. When he entered in the library, his classmate Ananya came, in front of him. Advay always maintains a gap or distance with girls of the college. He is a dream boy of the college girls.

He stopped as she stood against him.

"Advay, Happy rose day...." Ananya put bunch of red roses in Advay's hand. Advay didn't understand her intention. Before he could say her anything, Ananya placed a kiss on his cheek. He glanced at, Eva, her eyes are filled with anger. He remembered that today is rose day and he didn't bring roses for her.

He returned flowers to Ananya and walks towards Eva. But Eva angrily left the library, without looking at him.

"i***t, can't remember one day for me, and that b***h, kissedon his cheek. Can't he stop her? Even I never kiss him." She is angrily mumbling in low sound in her class.

Finally on valentine's day,....

Advay became impatient, she didn't give him response from week, no call, no messages, even didn't glance at him. Advay doesn't know how to be romantic but he loves her and can do anything for her.

He is putting on his sport shoes, but wandering in thoughts of Eva. Karan, his roommate was observing him from week, he asked, "Advay, I can't understand you. You are changed. What happened to you? Like you are lost somewhere."

Advay never plays passing in the pass. He directly replied, "My girlfriend is angry with me from week, because I forgot to bring Roses for her on the rose day."

"Wh....at....?" Karan's mouth remains opened.

"You have a girlfriend, Am I dreaming?" Karan's eyes opened wide.

"Why? Any problem?" Adva asked while putting on his second shoes.

"I'm thinking why she doesn't run from you, is the matter of thinking."

"Aey, what do you mean by run away from me? I'm not a Hitler." Advay said in high voice.

"Sorry, From when are you both in relationship??" He asked.

"2 years."

"Twoooooo...... years." Karan exclaimed.

"So What?" Advay narrowed his eyes.

Advay snaked his hand around Karan's neck and said, "Now you will do favor for me."

"Leave me." Karan requested.

"Where is the party tonight?" Advay asked.

"Which Party?" Karan asked with painful voice.

"Valentine's party."

"Our college guys have planned at the happiness cafe." Karan informed.

"Okay, now you will go to college and will ask Eva to come with you in the party." Advay said.

"Why will she come with me?" Karan said.

"Because you will tell her that I'm also coming in the party but with Ananya." Advay said and leave him.

"Ok......ay" Karan said while rubbing his neck.

"And one more thing." Advay said nervously.

"Now what?" Karan asked.

"Can you give me some romantic idea for date?" Advay asked hesitantly.

"Great... The Advay... the book worm... asked about dating idea..." Karan scoffed him.

"Aey,........."

"Sorry, Sorry. Don't hold again." Karan joined hands.

"Ask the Google, There is the answers of all questions." Karan suggested.

Advay thought for sometime and start searching for gifts, romantic date ideas etc.

During the day at college, Eva doesn't look at him. He smiled at her anger. Karan convinced Eva for the party. First she denied but when he told her about Ananya, she agreed.

They reached at the Happiness cafe. Eva's eyes are searching for Advay. Karan notices that and smiled. Advay is lucky, he has found Eva, who is in deep love with him.

All of sudden all lights are off and a spot light on the middle of the party, he is Advay.

Everyone shocked when they saw Advay with mic in his hand.

"Hello, everyone. My girlfriend is angry with me, so I decided to propose her in front of you all. I hope she will accept. I don't have any romantic ideas but selected a song for my love.." Advay said to all the guys presented here. He plays a pinch and music started. Advay sang a song for her...

When he finished the song, loud applause and whistles are sounded for him. He performed best. The youngsters are cheering for him. "Once more..." sounded everywhere in the cafe.

Eva sighed hard, a huge smile couldn't move from her lips.

"Hey, guy, who is your girlfriend?" A girl asked from the crowd.

"No need to show you all, she is smiling and that's enough for me," Advay replied.

"No, no. Until you don't call her here, we will not allow you to go out." One boy said.

Advay smiled and looked at Eva with hope.

Eva is playing with her fingers nervously. She never thought that he could do like that. She knows very well that, his IPS is dumb in romance.

Advay took a bunch of red roses from the table, and walks towards Eva, everyone gave him away.

He kneeled down in front of her, "I love you, Eva, Will you be my valentine's for the whole life?"

Eva was sighing hard, everyone is looking at them. She doesn't have any option, she accepted roses and nodded positively.

All are shouted and whistled for them.

They enjoy the party and after some time, "Shall we...?" Advay asked Eva and she nodded.

Advay holds her hand and they came out of the cafe. Advay gave his bike's key to Karan and they left in Eva's car.
