Kinley saw the way Spencer's eyes widened and knew that she'd just touched on a sore point but she wasn't backing down. She had a right to know if Spencer and Lily had been a thing, together in the past, especially after everything the woman had done. Spencer's eyes flashed and she saw something very much like regret in them before he blinked and it was gone.
