Spencer was flummoxed, as was the doctor. Instead of healing like a normal shifter would, Lily's injuries remained the same, the doctor informing Spencer he'd never seen anything like it as he entered the hospital room, visiting Lily who was lying there weakly, various machines attached to her. Her ankle was broken, meaning that she needed to use crutches to get around, and Spencer sighed, realizing the inevitable: she would be unable to go home until it had completely healed along with the other injuries.
"Spencer" Lily called out with a shuddering breath as he came to her side, taking in her matted and messed up hair, the dark circles under her eyes and the pain that she seemed to be in.
"How are you doing" he said gruffly, a little embarrassed it had taken him this long to visit her
