Every inch of my body felt weak, my eyelid keeps shaking. I cant believe the people i considered my family are the same people who killed my parents for money.
"How could you". I stared at them, a smirk forms on Aunt Serena lips i wish i could wipe off the smirk off her face.
"What do you think? I did it just to get the money and my dreams are going to be fulfilled soon." She exclaimed laughing out loud.
"How can you be so wicked, i will report this issue to the police you guys will pay for your crimes." I cried out.
Aunt Serena took slow steps towards me, yanking me up she dripped her finger into my arm making me yelp. She stared at me directly with rage lowering her voice into whisper.
"Don't you dare even try reporting to the police" she seethe. New set of sweat started forming in my body, my legs felt weak.
"That will not be possible," i whispered my lips trembling. The look on her face tells me something big is coming; the next thing i felt is a sharp pain shot through my chin.
She slapped me
"Tia bring her phone from the room" she commanded. Tia who has been watching the whole show hate evident on her face disappeared to my room.
"What did my parents ever did to you? Why?" I shouted holding her Arm, pushing my hands away she took the phone from Tia hands removing the battery she smashed the phone on the floor, my eyes widen.
"And do you think i will let you work in a company while we're here doing nothing," she fumed "your documents are with me"
To say I'm shocked will be an understatement; i don't even know what to feel about this, i have to report to the police no matter what. Holding my arms she started dragging me.
"Where are you taking me?" Ignoring my question, she opened the store room pulling me inside.
"From now on this will be your room and don't even try to escape, i will bring the papers later to sign" she stated.
"Over my dead body, i will never sign it," I spitted.
"We shall see"
with that she left the room locking it from outside. I was shocked down to the core, i felt betrayed. The store room was pitch dark nothing could be heard, i place my hands on my beating heart bile rise in my throat.
The event has been flashing on my mind, i can't let it off my mind. My parent has shown nothing to them but kindness; i remembered the time when my parents took them in our house when they have nowhere to go.
Tears welled up in my eyes, i didn't bother to stop them, i need them to make me feel better. After crying for what felt like hours, a plan forms in my head i can't sit like this crying without doing nothing. I won't sign the papers no matter what.
I need to escape and for that to happen, i need to pretend to corporate with them.

After sitting in the dark cold store room, i heard the jiggling of keys, i inhale a sharp breath, i have to be calm. The door opens followed by Aunt Serena with the papers.
"Time for you to sign the papers and don't even think about disobeying" she stated her coffee brown eyes staring into my hazel one's with so much hatred.
"If i were to sign the papers, it will be on one condition" i pinned my hair behind my ear waiting for response, her lips forms a thin line.
"Okay let's hear your condition"
"You will give me back my documents," she gave me a smile the one i took a dislike for.
"Sure that will not be a problem" she passed the papers to me with a pen.
Kelsey it's time
Making sure that her mind is solely focused on the papers, that gives me cue to execute my plan. I pushed her with all my might, aiming for the door i immediately lock it.
I went to her room to take my document, i check all the drawers but couldn't find it.

Kelsey you don't have much time
Getting out of the room, i walked down quietly towards the front door.
But where is Tia?
Kelsey you don't have much time, you have to report to the police.
The moment i was out of the gate, i ran as fast as i could. I know Aunt Serena she will do anything to get the money , i can't let them find me; i have to get to the station as soon as possible.
Just as i was about to enter the next corner, i felt someone grabbed me from behind.
"Mnph.. Mnph.." I tried to free myself but couldn't, by the tight hold on my body the person must be powerful. My eyes and mouth was tied with a blind fold, picking me up on his shoulder.
I tried freeing myself but it seems all my struggles are in vain. What i feel next is my head turning, i feel like i was inside a merry go round my body sinking.
What is happening to me?
Is this some sort of dream?
Is this the end of me?

Her fingers are moving
Her eyelids are blinking
What are they saying?
Why I'm i hearing noises but can't open my eyes.

My chest heave and my eyes flashed open, seeing unknown people.
"Where I'm I?" I asked.
"Miss try to breath in and out, you're in a hospital" a middle aged man in a white coat said.
Hospital?
But i was on my way to the station
Remembering the events my eyes widen, i tried to stand up but the doctor insist i rest.
"How long have i been in the hospital?" I asked the doctor feeling some pain on my head.
"Three days"
"What?" I watched him in shock.
"How did you find me?"
"One young man brought you to the hospital, can you perhaps tell me why you're drenched? You almost died" He asked in a calm tone.
"Can i meet the young man first?"
"He's been coming here frequently, let me call him and let him know that you've woken up" he slip his hand into his pocket taking out his phone,
Suddenly the door burst open.
"Oh there he is"
My eyes widen, mouth agape.
