I carry Talia to bed where I hold her until her cries have ceased and she slips off to sleep once more. My beautiful mate has been complete drained by all the drama in our lives. To be honest, I feel pretty rough as well, but I am doing my best to hold it together.
“Terrence is about an hour out.” Travis mind-links to me, Jaden, Chad and Tom.
“Stellar!” Chad replies.
“Yes, Alpha.” says Tom as he maintains his professionalism. I guess we could all learn a thing or two from our Gamma.
“Thank the Goddess.” I respond.
“Ok, I’m on my way back.” Jaden says.
“Where are you?” Travis directs to Jaden.
“Just stepped out for some air, Alpha.” Jaden replies, apparently taking a leaf out of Tom’s book.
“Probably a good idea, we could all use a good run, I’ll clear it with Alpha Tyle
