After everyone settled into the duplex, I chose to slip out for some fresh air. As I near the door to exit the duplex, Matt’s voice breaks through my thoughts.
“Where are you off to?” Matt asks curiously.
“Not really sure, just going to catch some fresh air.” I shrug off his question.
“You ok, man?” Matt’s brow creases with concern as he inquires.
“Yeah, things have just been intense for awhile and I could use some nature time to recoup.” I give him a reassuring grin before I exit, closing the door behind me.
