Matt POV
Upon returning to the duplex, I discover Talia’s absence and a sense of panic fills me as I search our room for signs of where she may have gone.
“Talia is with Serena, they went for a walk.” Sarah says to me, and I turn to see her in the doorway.
“Oh, ok.” I sigh in relief.
“Come here.” Sarah commands as she leads me out to the living room, and I follow obediently. Sarah sits down on the couch and pats the seat beside her, which I take. “I’ve been practicing this for a little while.” She says as she places her hands on either side of my face. A warmth spreads through me, and I swear that I smell lavender as all my stress and tension eases from my body.
Sarah removes her hands. “Feel better now?”
“Yes, actually, thanks Luna.” I smile at her.
